Will you skip hollywood studios on your next trip?

I won't skip it but probably do my usual, which is spending about 5ish hours there and then hopping elsewhere. I love Star Tours and RnRC, and the Launch Bay is pretty neat so I want to check that out again. I'm sure as it builds back up we will spend more time there but I find for what I/we enjoy, about a half day is good for us. I'm determined to ride ToT - only ride in all of Disney I've never done yet! Maybe this time!

Don't care about any of the rides or attractions that closed. A little annoyed about High Octane closing (where am I going to get an After Burner now??). So no, I won't be skipping.

We'll be going to DHS as DS enjoys anything Star Wars and there are enough new things such as Launch Bay to check out (hoping the SW fireworks will be happening when we're there in June). I can see your point, however and the #1 consideration would be if you have PH or not. If you have PH I would say it's worth going one morning or evening to check out...with EPCOT so easy to get to from DHS you can make it a split day. If you don't have PH then it's worth considering if DHS will be a waste of a day if construction makes it hard to enjoy. If I had 6 full non PH park days I would save DHS as a possibility for the last day. Enjoy the other 3 parks the first 5 days (maybe 2 days MK. 2 Days EPCOT and 1 day AK) then decide if you want to spend your 6th day in any of these 3 parks or you had your fill of them and why not check out DHS. For us, we like DHS and it's always worth going.

I have been skipping DHS for years. Do not like thrill rides so there isn't as much for me to do there. Going to WDW with my adult DD and DS in 2017 and will include since they will enjoy it and haven't been to WDW in years and years..

We never skip any park. Love DHS, usually go 2-3 times each trip. Can't imagine a trip without going!

We went there on our Dec trip to see Osborne lights one evening and went one morning for tsmm, tot, Frozen show, and histk playground. For our trip in June we have decided to skip DHS and try out Blizzard Beach instead. We have skipped DHS during other trips over the past few years, too. We are going in August and taking some first timers, so I've planned a mostly full day there so they can experience it.

We will still be going on our trip in June. Two half days, knock out our favorites and move on. It makes it a lot easier to do however, since we all have APs this year. RnR is a group fave so we will try to do that a bunch before leaving.

We would skip it if we weren't staying in the Epcot area for part of our trip. Because we have park hoppers, we plan to go for the EMH one morning. We did seriously consider skipping it this trip, though.

It looks like Hollywood Studios is going to be gutted for a while. Will you bother going, or will you spend your time elsewhere? I'm debating- we have six day tickets for our next trip but I'm not sure Hollywood Studios is worthwhile because so few attractions are open and the ones that are will probably have very long lines.
The problem is that i am torn...I probably will go for the fireworks at night alone....that being said, it stinks that with so much of the park closed off, that they still charge full price. I think a nice accommodation would have been to allow folks to park hop regardless of pass to HS....I have 7 day base tickets for our upcoming trip, and we have to think long and hard about devoting a whole day

Next visit will be for a full week so no need to skip. Why did Disney need to close down so much in order to build the new attractions? I thought Disney had plenty of land to expand and didn't need to tear down much the way Disneyland has to for new attractions.

Our first trip will be in December and we are planning to go. There seems to be a lot to do even with the closures, at least for a newbie. =)

Since our next trip will be for the Food and Wine Festival, most likely we will be in EPCOT. So HS will not be seen by us. The trip after will be for MVMCP in December. Then we will be at MK. So once again, no HS.

I'd never dream of skipping DHS, even when it was my least favourite park to visit there has always been something I've wanted to do there.

We've just returned from a week long trip and some of my favourite moments have come from DHS. Although I highly suspect it has something to do with the amount of Star Wars stuff on offer there. I could quite easily have made it into a full day park but I guess if you're not a fan of Star Wars you'd get bored pretty quickly. I really enjoyed Symphony in the Stars, wonderful!
