As of right now, it stands as 'not sure.' It will depend on the reports coming out what is actually included with this, if the snacks/drinks along with the rides open can justify the price....maybe.

No, at least not as of now.

Nothing wrong with them offering it though. As long as it doesn't ruin or get in the way of day paying guests or Extra Magic hours.

Hefty price though when you compare to the parties. If they treat this no different from the parties, for the times of the year where parties are not offered, then sure.

Call me old fashioned, but I'd rather go back to the room and get a quality night's sleep before the next day's adventures. Maybe if I was the type of person who routinely stayed up until 2 am without feeling exhausted the next day, I would be interested, but that's just not me. If I even had an extra $150 per person to burn, I'd rather go to MNSSHP or MVMCP. At least those events are actual events with special features to them, like parades, special characters, etc. This has what, an ice cream bar and a bottle of pop? Not worth it for me!

On our next trip no. But if my husband and I happened to be in the area and only had one day at Disney and the night park would be open until 2am I might consider it. On a regular trip heck no but for a one day thing it might not be too bad of a deal if you got in at 7. I'd have a nice early dinner and head into the park at 7pm, knowing once 11 hit the only people riding would be people with special tickets. The crowds are going to have to be way smaller than the parties though.

I voted NO. For an exclusive experience, I'd consider the VIP Ultimate Day of Thrills for $299.00 per person instead. You get a personal VIP tour guide to the most thrilling ride experiences in 3 parks, including private transportation, and table service lunch is included. DVC members, AP holders, and Disney Visa Card holders get a 15% discount and I can cancel within 48 hours.

I'm pretty sure the target audience is "the rich". I know celebrities take their kids to Disney and this makes sense for them.

I assume no one on this website is the target demographic.

I voted NO because 3 hours doesn't seem worth it to me. Plus, what?? Those crappy cookies and watered down hot chocolate for "free" as the treat? No thanks.
Here's what else I'm sure about--it'll be a huge success, they will make a boatload of money.

We've done the post-race after party at Epcot and that used to be FANTASTIC! It was open til 3 or 4am, hardly any kids, rides were a walk on. Now, they are dumbing that down this year. It was so crowded this past November we decided that was the last one we would attend. Now they are moving the time, making it even less appealing.

I was very tempted as I will be there on one of the dates and as I will have travelled all the way from New Zealand it felt a bit like what's another $300 for me and my partner to attend as we won't be going back anytime soon. I even called up to book this morning, but the tickets weren't on sale yet.

But now I have thought about it all morning and have decided it's terrible value for money and we are going to go to Universal on that day instead for nearly the same price. That way we can avoid the new Magic Kingdom crowds and also get to go to Wizarding World.

yeah, celebrities just use the VIP tour guides. They aren't the targeted demographic here. I think it's one-night splurgers without young children who really really want to escape the crowds.

I see the first night is April 14th- our flight coming into Sanford lands at 10:30- I think it would be great to take the rental car directly to MK and have a couple hours of extra fun.

That being said- heck no- too pricey for what little is being offered.

Yes we would purchase this option IF and only IF these four stipulations were met:
1. MK is closed one hour prior to this event starting
2. Anyone not attending this event is escorted out of the park prior to the start of the 3 hour window
3. The number of available tickets is limited to no more than 5000
4. All of the E Ticket rides are available all 3 hours

NOPE.

The only way I can see it in my future is if we stayed off site and used the savings to splurge on it once. But I think the idea of it makes me so irritated that I would just rather go somewhere else.

I am definitely a "no" - too much money for what seems to be very little return.

The holiday parties used to be a "limited ticket event" - but that wording has been long gone from the description.

They do bill this as a "limited ticket event" so maybe they will truly be limited. HOWEVER - was the Villain Party a "limited ticket event"?? Because that was a total disaster.

It'll be really interesting to see what happens. popcorn::

I voted no. I would not pay an extra $150 for 3 hours of rides. And, with the way Disney oversells everything, the lines, most likely, won't be that short. One of the main reasons we stay at a Disney resort is for EMH that we get included in our stay. If this is a way to faze out EMH and replace them with these ticketed events, then my days of on site stays are over.

I really wonder how many tickets they are going to limit it to each night. If every ride really was a walk-on and the parks felt empty, then I'd consider it, but really only if I had just one day at Disney and it was already going to be a crowded day otherwise. When I first heard about it, I just shook my head, especially after hearing it only included ice cream and bottled beverages! Not even any hot food available, except for Casey's? That's just ridiculous to me.

You should really be wondering if they are going to do to it at all. After all, the only report is from an unsourced, unverified fan blog, not from Disney itself. People are getting really, really exasperated over what could turn out to be nothing. Not saying it won't happen, but don't cry over milk that hasn't been spilled yet.
