All of a sudden DS is telling me he HAS to see Donald during our trip. I know the only place I can be sure he will see Donald is at the AK Breakfast.

We are planning to go to AK on a morning EMH. The park will EMH open at 8:00am. We figure we will be there at open & go straight to the safari.

I have a 10:00am ADR for the Donald's Breakfastasourus. Think we will get a ride in on the Safari & the ALL the way back to the resturant in time?

If we miss the breakfast, it is ok since we are going back in Nov. And I dont want to feel rushed.

I am also worried, because we were not happy with the breakfast last year. Our friends love it & wanted us to go with them. Well the characters seemed SO rushed & had no time or desire to see my DS. And that was a seating around 10:00am also. Am I setting myself up for a bad time doing the same seating time?

You'll have plenty of time. If you get there at the 8am opening and head straight to the safari, you'll probably be stepping off the safari by 8:30 at the latest... :goodvibes

You don't have to go to the breakfast at AK to see Donald. We saw him several times last year, outside JoJos caravan at MGM Studios :)

And we saw Donald last trip at the MK outside of the Castle.....great surprise

But you should definitely make your ADR...You'll be off the Safari by 8:30-8:45 the latest and can leisurely walk over... I wouldn't worry.

I believe Donald has a permanent photo station back in Camp Minnie Mickey. Trust me, Donald isn't hard to find! I love Donald, too! We saw him in MK (for a special Christmas set up) at his trailer in MGM, at Camp Minnie-Mickey in AK... He's also been spotted in the Judges Tent at Toon Town (MK), the character bus at Epcot, and sometimes near the "big hat" at MGM.

We did early entry at AK in October with a 10 AM seating for Donald's. The days are sort of mixed together in my head now, but I am sure we had plenty of time to do everything. Maybe we got Fast Passes for the Safari and went back later? We were at AK 2 different days and now I can't remember when we did what. At any rate, if you go straight to the safari you should be back in plenty of time for Donald's.

I do think things were a little more rushed when we went in October vs. when we were there in January. Our server was more fun in January, too! But it was still enjoyable and a nice break after touring for a couple of hours. Have fun!

We saw him both at the AK - Camp Minnie-Mickey and at the new Character Connection at Epcot. :flower3:

We saw Donald at MGM studios next to Jo Jo's van. He was always there when we walked by and never any wait to say hello! We also saw him at Camp Minnie Micky. Good luck! :earsboy:

We always start our trip to WDW with dinner at Chef Mickey's.
Unless Disney has changed it, Donald is there.
Our last visit was this past August.
Call disney dining to find out for sure.
Good Luck!!! :flower:

In Aug we did a 1030 ADR for Donald's Breakfast on an AM EMH to AK we were able to see Bugs Life Movie, the Safari, walk Pangani trail and ride Kali Rapids before breakfast. We are 2 adults, but we don't walk run around the park and we didn't feel too rushed. If you were at a much slower pace you could still do Bugs Life, Safari and the trail before breakfast and asve Kali for later. We ate soaked from Kali so I would suggest doing it later anyway! Good Luck.
