Will we make it on time

I agree that it's very tight with the chance of you not making it more probable than making it. Any slight delay pushes everything back. One time we had a 9 am flight that got delayed and didn't leave until 1:30 pm, making it impossible for us to make a 5:30 pm dinner ADR we had planned. This was prior to cc guarantees and while I didn't let it stress me out too much because it was out of my control, it made that day of travel hectic. We now add a day at the beginning and arrive late (after 11pm), makes for a more relaxing day of travel for us. With that said, there's no way I'd make an ADR for 2 hours after I was supposed to land, but that's just me. Good luck with whatever you choose to do :).

Our May Trip:
We land at MCO around 7:50Pm and are taking ME to AKV.
We have dining reservations at Boathouse at 10PM.
Should we take the bus to DS or use Uber or Lyft??. Very stressed right now.
TIA

It is not worth the stress. Why do it to yourself? It is just a meal. If your flight is delayed you will be left scrambling late in the evening. 1. Boma at your resort is great and has something for everyone. If no res. just keep watch one will pop up. ..or Jiko, or even the Mara has a nice menu and atmosphere. You can eat out by the pool or inside...then of course there is Sanaa!!

If you land on time, and check-in at the hotel is smooth, and you took Uber or Lyft, then I'd say you have a decent shot of making it, however I def. wouldn't do a bus from your hotel to DS (too long) and there really isn't much buffer time etc., so you'll probably be stressing until you get there.

1) Each resort "stop" takes about 15-20 minutes.
2) There are up to four stops on a DME route.
3) That can waste an hour.
4) All of a sudden
. . . arrive: 7:50pm
. . . deplane, walk to tram and walk to Disney desk: 8:20pm
. . . get bus assignment and walk to bus: 8:35pm
. . . board and wait for bus to fill/leave: 8:45pm (doesn't count if you have to wait for the next bus)
. . . drive to Disney property: 9:20pm (assuming you are the first stop on the route ... add 15-minuts for each additional stop)
. . . walk immediately to internal bus stop: 9:25pm
. . . wait for next bus: 9:35pm
. . . board and ride to DS: 9:50pm
. . . walk to eatery: 9:55pm
5) You are "tight" on time, even if everything goes well.
6) And, no, there is no Grace Period on ADR's. (see below)
7) At best, I would take Uber from airport to DS.
I mean, I said clearly to cancel the reservation if using Disney transportation. I stand by my point, which is that with Uber or a rental car, it would be easy to make that dinner, assuming the flight arrived on schedule. But I guess that's not really relevant anymore.

1) TOO LATE.
2) If you can't make it, you get charged $10 per person for the No Show Penalty.
3) Kind of a costly "we will see".
Not if she books on OpenTable, which I also recommended in my initial post. Not only does OpenTable not charge a no-show or late cancellation fee, but it offers significantly more reservations than Disney's broken system does.
