Though I can't help you with your dining choices, we haven't tried any of them (yet!) I'm sending you lots and lots of pixie dust for your DD to go one Splash Mountain! The whole ride is a story and even though it has some drops, there's the singing and the story is funny, very well done ride imho.

This is our absolute favorite ride at MK, last year we went on it at least 8 or 9 times.

My DD is 9 now, but she loves this ride.

Good luck!

Hopefully soon someone will answer your dining suggestions :)

all on the list will be new to us with the exception of Narcoosees. We are bringing family members that have never done WDW so they will enjoy no matter but wnat to make it as nice as possible for us all...
so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!:bounce:

Hm... I've only been to one restaurant on your list, "Flying Fish", and we found it overpriced, even for Disney. It was good though, just ridiculously priced. You could have just as good of a meal at many other restaurants that aren't as highly priced.

Hoop Dee Doo is great--you should enjoy it--especially since you won't have to pay the bill (that's what being on a plan means, right? :) )

Brown Derby--I was disapointed in--hubby had the worst prepared filet mignon of his life--and the children's menu is a bit on the hoity-toity side--basically very fancy prepared foods that your 5 year old may choose not to eat.

Friends of our ate at Le Cellier and enjoyed it--I think it is a steak restaurant with, of course, other Canadian Specialities.

LTT is yummy food--and from what I understand, the characters are dressed in costume for dinner here and nowhere else.

Flying Fish--never ate there

1900 and Mary Poppins for breakfast, how lovely.

Narcoosee's not so lovely--but I was pregnant when I went and hubby is a picky eater which made for a not so lovely combination. He sent one of his dishes back as he didn't understand the preparation and when it came he was shocked--(it was the soup-like dish with seafood in it and the seafood is still all in its shell). They create a new menu each day based on what has been flown in fresh--so if you are up for gourmet preparations and a daily changing menu, you are in for an adventure...BUT watching the fireworks was beautiful. For the price and with a 5 year old--though I have never been, the California Grill might be a better option. I am not even sure that Narcoosee's has a children's menu.

Other suggestions--Restaurant Akershus, CRT, V&A for the adults (maybe 5 year old can go to one of the evening children's programs), The Bistro? (french restuarant upstairs above Chefs? in France), The UK restuarant (name escapes me at the moment)....

thanks for the info. - looks like we may skip Brown Derby anyway as getting a decent ps time w/ Fantasmic pkg. is too much hassle! Looking forward to HDDMR! Since its our first time there we don't know what to expect but sure a good time will be had by all!
any suggestions as to how to fill a couple of dinners (adult nite one nite) would be appreciated.

Sounds good, enjoy! The Hoop Dee Doo is a fun show, we really enjoy it. :D

We lOVED Spoodles, we too thought Flying Fish was overpriced, all your choices look great. The only suggestion we thought of was trying Spoodles--we thought it appealed to wide variety of ages and tastes. Try the flatbread 4 cheese pizza, if you go--It was superb!!!! (it is an appetizer, but I had it for dinner with a salad/also excellent!!!)

Have a great trip!!!!!!!!!!
Flo

(For adults--the sangria was sublime!!!!!!!!!!!!!--wish I was there now!!!!)

Le Cellier is great. Make sure you horde the pretzle bread. If you have any beer drinkers in your party, make sure they try La Fin du Monde (if they still have it). It is a great beer.

Looks like a great lineup of eating to me. Le Cellier is the one place we do not miss when go, of course my wife is a Canadian living in South Carolina so there is that taste of home feel.

I'd like to add my vote to Le Cellier - it is great!

LeCellier is a must do!
We ate at LTT 2 weeks ago for the first time and really enjoyed both the food and character interaction.
You may want to consider Ohanas and 50's Prime Time as other options!
