WILL WE BE PAYING RACK RATE for OCT? HELP!

Our DD registered for the Fall Intern program and we booked with her 40% off discount. Now she has been offered another internship and has told us she will not be going to Dis.

We booked a room only at the YC Oct 15-24. I called last night and was told we are blocked out from FD and there are NO other discounts available (AP or ANYTHING). Does it really seem like we will be paying the full rate rack for our trip? Any advice will be GREATLY appreciated!!!!

Discounts haven't come out yet for that time frame. The current room discount is for stays through 10/3, with a book by date of 8/8, so I wouldn't give up hope just yet. Keep an eye out here on the Dis as rumors usually start circulating a few weeks before a new promo comes out .

She booked through her daughters discount for being in an intern program with Disney, not a public discount....

What confuses me is if your daughter was doing the fall program she isn't suppose to be able to book until she begins the program. Was she already on the internship with Disney when she booked and is choosing not to extend?

I only ask because if she hasn't yet started her program and you already booked then you must be under a different CMs name because we don't even receive our credentials to book CM discounts until after traditions.

Not to be a Debbie Downer but YC and BC are showing no availability for that week so unless something big changes I doubt there will be any RO....I'm down that same week and have been watching availibilty and it's pretty slim in the Epcot area due to F&W....there are still some standard rooms at BWI though...
