Will we be able to bring relatives back to resort for a drink??

Hi, we are meeting up with relatives during our next visit to WDW, and will hopefully be staying in a MK studio as part of our new BLT purchase!!

We will be spending the day with family at MK, and wondered whether it is acceptable for us to bring them back to have a look around our room and have a drink on our balcony with us??

They have mentioned an interest in purchasing DVC, and I am sure they would like to have a look at our room - and who knows Disney might get a sale out of it!!

(Not a problem if this isn't allowed - would just prefer to know before we go, so that it isn't awkward if I bring them back and then they get turned away at the door!!)

We do this frequently, but we stay at OKW. I'm positive it wouldn't be a probelm.

You'll have absolutely no problem doing this. All Disney resorts are open to the public, and you're welcome to have guests come and visit you. Anyone can dine, shop, and use recreational facilities at the resorts (except the pools), or just hang out.

Only problems might be if they have their own vehicle and need to park because parking is pretty limited at the CR. You would have to greet them at the crosswalk from the CR to BLT since they wouldn't be able to get through without a current BLT key.

thanks everyone!! - Thats great news, I knew about the pool thing, and therefore (wrongly - luckily for me!) thought that meant you couldn't invite them to your room either.

But now I will be proud to show them around my new 'home'!!

the other consideration is that you might not be able to bring them to the Top of the World lounge if you wanted to do that - have heard it is limited to members staying at BLT on points, but do not know if members staying on points can bring in guests.

But you'd certainly be able to take them to your room.
