Will the cast member get in trouble?

Have never been sprinkled, but am a lifelong super fan. The most we ever received were two little 'I was spotted being good' plastic coins given to my daughters by a ferry captain on the way from POR to DD. Still have em. But I don't think even the most hardcore Disney fans expect much, well, not much more than visiting the happiest place on earth.

Yeah, I definitely think cast members have some ability to sprinkle pixie dust here and there.

We were buying some stuff at DHS one day and the CM checking us out was giving us a little trivia...we got stumped on one but my (then) 4 year old DD spoke up and answered correctly. I think he could see how shocked we were that she answered (because she was super duper shy at the time).

He asked her the question again, and she answered. He made a huge deal and then directed her over to the stuffed animal display and told her to pick one. Her day was made! :)

We still talk about that to this day, and she still sleeps with that Mickey she picked out (she will be 10 soon).
Magic!

On my last trip in May I was in the gift shop outside space mountain when it started heavily raining. I had left my poncho with my husband over by Buzz. I waited, but after 15 minutes it wasn't letting up. The rain was coming down so hard I would be totally soaked running the short distance to Buzz. I was cursing myself for not taking my poncho with me, but I hadn't expect it to start raining so hard so quickly.

Of course the CM were doing a steady business selling ponchos at the counter. I asked how much they were and contemplated buying one. I was standing a little to the side of the counter when the CM handed me a poncho and told me to just take it. I thanked her profusely.

My 19 year old grandson was with us. He was off somewhere when the rain started and he bought himself a poncho. We had brought a poncho for him, so we had two extra ponchos.

The weather eventually cleared and we stayed in the park. We were waiting for wishes when it started to heavily drizzle. There were two women on scooters next to us. They didn't have ponchos, so we gave them our two extra ponchos which they were able to wear and place over the front of the scooter to keep the motor dry.

You could definitely put in the kudos without the details if you choose to. We went to put in a good note for a CM that was very helpful and kind to us (nothing free just took great care of us, a large party at BOG for lunch) and they just asked for general info like went above and beyond which would definitely be appropriate in this case. Awesome for your daughter!

What a great story! I worked very briefly in a hotel and we were told that we had free rein to comp guests free breakfasts or give them reduced rates if we felt it was appropriate. I wouldn't be surprised if CMs followed a similar policy.

I dont think he'll get in trouble. A CM once gave my sister a pair of name embroidered mickey ears just because it was her birthday...

My sister ordered her ears & when the CM handed her the ears and asked if they looked okay. My sister said they looked perfect & began to pull out her credit card when the CM stopped her & said "Mickey says this one is on the house!"

Even though we were all well into our 20s, we couldn't help but feel like it was so magically. It really made her trip!
