Will TarzansKat meet Captain Jack? ~A Pirate's Life for 3 Pre-Trippie~ We're back!

I want to check out Basin too. I had never heard of it until I starting DISing.

It's really a lovely store. I actually stumbled on it last year while waiting for my mom to..ahem...powder her nose after tea! It's nice, seems to fit with the theming of the Grand Flo very well. Again, bad for the wallet! :lmao:

I have a feeling I'm going to spend a lot of money on soaps and things here.

Awww your poor little boy! I hope he feels better.

Me too! He didn't want to take a bath, but we coerced him. Then he required me to change him for bed, and DH to rock him to sleep. See, we each have our parts to play.

It's sort of interesting, even when he's sick, he's still my little dictator! :lmao:

Moms! People who have been sick!

Help!

This won't apply to tonight, but what is the best possible thing I can give to DS to bind him up?

He just messed out of his diaper onto the bed, and now we have no clean sheets. This is getting exhausting and frustrating.

So if he'll eat tomorrow, what should I offer him to get his stool to be less runny?

Sorry, to be gross with the description, but the poor thing has such a red little tush, I feel awful. :confused3

I'm not a mom, but I can tell you what my mom used to give me. According to my mom, rice and bananas are binding.

Poor baby boy (and his mommy and daddy) :(

Crackers, toast, rice, bananas -- I am trying to think what else...I know with an upset stomach my mom always gave me ginger ale and sprite -- I don't think they are binding though.

My DSIL, the one who just had the baby, said the exact same thing. We have one banana, and plenty of rice. I'll have to go to the grocery store tomorrow and get some more bananas! :thumbsup2

Any other suggestions?:)

Thanks! We're doing the best we can, but ugh.

Thanks for the tips. We do have some crackers on hand. When I was sick, I always got Saltines. :goodvibes

The whole stomach virus/messed bed/throwing up: you know no one mentions any of that BEFORE you have children -- it's the added surprise.

I always got Saltines and Sprite.

Oh, by the way, I got distracted earlier -- yes, you can definitely drink a Pina Colada for me in September -- it's my fave drink in the world! :thumbsup2

Yes, like a little bonus! :lmao:

Did I mention to everyone that my DM is sick as well? She has watched DS for me all week, so there you go. I actually brought her some popsicles today, to help with her upset stomach. Funny...taking care of my mom and my son...ah, life...

I think if I can survive through this virus, I'll need one! :)

You need one of those little masks and a Lysol bath!!!

Remember, washing your hands frequently with warm water and soap will kill most germs. (The children's elementary school went through a horrible epidemic of shigella last year, and that was our motto).
