We're devils and black sheep and really bad eggs
and we'll drink up me hearties, yo ho!
So if you've been following my pre-trippie or Tink's pre-trippie, you'll have discovered that she and I are long-lost sisters. Born in the same month, same year, etc, we were shepharded away from our "real" parents by Obi Wan to live out our lives peacefully away from the dark lords that ruled the galaxy...
That is, until one day, when we discovered each other on the DIS. A match made in

The similarities were astounding, and they just kept coming. And so we made a choice. A choice that any self-respecting pirate would make.
Together we would brave the tropical perils of the Polynesian hotel. Together we would journey upstairs to the Tambu Lounge.
And together we would seek out the delightful Disney bartender and ask...but where has the rum gone?
To which said Disney bartender will reply, into this lovely Lapu Lapu, ladies! Drink up me hearties, yo ho!
So, today in my itinerary is the day before we leave the World. But it is not a sad day, oh no, folks. I have fun things planned on this day, Saturday, Sept. 20th, and I am heartily looking forward to them.
Before Tink and I live it up (hopefully they won't kick us out of the Poly, especially since it's her first night in the World), I have some other family business to attend to folks.
And that is something that I will really look forward to for the whole trip. The TK family has a date with some of my favorite friends from the Hundred Acre Wood. Today, we'll be dining with Pooh & Friends at the Crystal Palace. Our ADR is at 1145, so I'm hoping for an earlier lunch. This day is sort of interchangeable with the 19th in that if we missed things at Epcot, we'll go there, if we want some more MK, we'll stay there. I'm thinking hanging around the MK area might be good since I have a plan to meet my long lost sister.
If we wake up early this morning, I think a dip in the pool would be a great way to start the day, as long as I can get DS out of the pool with promises of meeting Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet. He loves to watch the new show on Playhouse Disney, as well as the classic WTP movies.
I really love the buffet at the Crystal Palace. Truth be told, it is my favorite in all the World. I love the characters, I love the food, and I love the pretty atmosphere. I like that the same Tigger topiary is waiting for me when I arrive. I like that Pooh is just as willing to hug me as my 3 year old. I like that I can pick out a dozen different kinds of mini desserts.

And I love buffets because without a doubt, there is always something that DS will like.
If we don't get to swim in the am, I think I'd like one last fling with the Hippy Dippy Pool and the whole Pop Century resort that night. I only have swimming "scheduled" on one other day. I personally expect we'll be doing it more than this, especially if DS doesn't like fireworks like last year. To my mind, there's no reason to stay at a park that late and deal with those bus crowds if your little nut is going to hate the noise.

So if that's the case, I see us swimming almost every night, with the exception of when we go to Downtown to do some shoppin'!
After we've lunched, I'm hoping to walk around MK and possibly get DS to nap in his stroller. If it's really hot, I'm thinking we may head over to any of the other monorail resorts. I may actually like to check out the Grand Flo today since I won't be partaking in the ladies tea this year. Basin, that really cool bath shop, is a place I'd like to spend some cash.

Last year they had a pumpkin spice scented soap shaped like a pumpkin that smelled soooooooooooooo good. I still have some left. And since I'm an October baby, and a lot of my birthdays were spent picking pumpkins at our local farm, hayride to the field included, I have a very healthy obsession with pumpkins. And Halloween in general. Are we sensing how much of an impact childhood has on people?
So we'll be just wastin' time....watchin' the hours roll by....
waiting for my long lost sister to arrive.
The game plan is for Tink and I to meet at the lounge for drinks before her dinner ressie. I am really looking forward to this. I have loved talking to her on the DIS, and our witty banter, and even if I can't come up with quick one liners in person, I think she'll still like me.
So after we've had our Lapu Lapus or fruity tropical whatnots, she and her lovely friend will go off to dinner and my lovely family and I will go in search of some as well. Where will we end up for dinner?
Truly, I have no plans. It'll be counter service, so it could be anything at MK, Epcot, or one of the monorail resorts. We'll just have to wait...and see...
