Will it be possible to wing it?

We're going at a slow time, January 29 - February 4. In the past, we've done a mix of ADR's and winging it. With this being a slow time at the parks, though, I'm hoping we won't have to make ADRs at all. It's a last minute trip that I just booked a week ago. So what do you all think?

I think winging it is fine as long as you are prepared to be turned away if what you want isn't available. The end of January//beginning of February is a slower time, but there may be some places that will be booked. With that said, if there are any restaurants you definitely want to go to, I'd make ADRs for those, but leave out the ones that aren't necessarily a must do if you don't want a lot of reservations. Good luck.

We have our second first of Feb trip coming up. Crowds are definitely much lighter than other times of the year. Last visit there was NO wait at Tusker House for lunch. Folks were just walking right in and there were plenty of open tables. Other restaurants, Sci Fi (dinner) needed an ADR. They were turning away walk ups. So I would go with what others said...Wing it but don't be disappointed if you're turned away from your first pick.

I was there Dec 9-14th with no ADRs. We were able to be seated at 50s Prime Time (mid-afternoon) and Be Our Guest (Friday night around 7pm) with minimal wait times. Of course, your results may vary. Good luck!

We're going during the last week of February, and aside from two ADRs (both at Epcot on the same day), we're winging it. And we're a family of four. There aren't any places we "have" to dine at, and don't think we'll have much problem getting table service at whichever park we're in at the time.

Thank you all! I think we'll be okay, since we don't have any places we HAVE to eat at. The new ADR policy makes me a little nervous, especially with a toddler that may cause us to miss one.
