Will i really have trouble booking a 2BR at BCV if i am 2 weeks past the 11 mo mark?

Since I have not officially closed, this raises a booking question for me...when booking through DVC, is a specific room number assigned at booking? Meaning is the MS person able to look at an inventory that day and if we were to call and request a dedicated 2br, would the member services person be able to tell me if I have one with 2 queens in the 2nd bedroom or is that just done at check in? I doubt it but figured I'd check.

Yes, they are separate booking categories and MS will be able to tell you which is available and the reservation will specify which type you have.

You will not have a specific room number - that isn't assigned until check-in day. You will have a specific booking category though. For a 2BR at BCV it is one of: 2BR Dedicated - 2Q, 2BR Dedicated (1Q, 1 sleep sofa in 2nd BR), or 2BR Lockoff. As mentioned above, the 2BR with 2Q is the scarce commodity.

In 2008, I was able to get a Dedicated 2 BR at the 7 month mark. (Now, granted, it was on the old booking system, but we had no problems.)
