Will I lose FPs if I upgrade this way?

8 days. 7-day pass. Existing FP reservations for days 2-8. If I enter a park on day 1 and upgrade to an 8-day ticket, do I still keep all my fast passes for days 2-8?

Upgrading the ticket won't affect the FP+ reservations you've already made.

Thanks. I was worried that because I was using a day to enter the park that I would lose on of the other days' fast pass reservations because, until I upgraded, I had one fewer ticket days than days of FP reservations.

Crap, I didn't think about you entering the park, leaving you without a valid ticket for the last day's FP+ reservations. You don't have to use the ticket once before upgrading. So just upgrade at the ticket window before entering the park.

You actually have over a day to add on an entitlement without losing your last day's FPs. If you are in a hurry to enter a park, plan to upgrade sometime during that day.

Does this mean I can enter the park then go to GS before the end of that day to bridge and upgrade the 7 day MYW PH ticket (Thanks, Parksavers!) to an 8 day MYW PH ticket without losing fast passes for days 2-8?

Correct. The FP system maintains the FPs for day #8 for 1.5 days so as long as you upgrade from 7 to 8 days sometime that day, you'll be fine.

You no longer have to use the ticket to upgrade and maintain your discount. You'll pay the same price whether you enter first or upgrade first - you don't lose your discount.
