Will I get ID all the time when purchasing Beer in WDW?

Back in April I turned 21, so that means I am legal to drink in the United States. Since I am from Thornhill, Ontario (subarb of Toronto) I was legal to drink there when I turned 19. Anyway since I have been legal to drink in Canada I have been ID only once. Knowing USA laws like I do I know that 100% I will be ID, because whenever I saw other people around my age they also got ID. So basically I am asking would I be ID all the time or is up to the Cast Member.

Disney's policy is to ID anyone who looks 30 or younger.

I remember being put off everytime I was carded when I was just legal...then later, quite enjoying it when I was well past 21...now what's sad is when they STOP carding you!

Hey, it is a BIG thrill now if I get carded. I have to run home and tell DH who just shakes his head and laughs at me.

WDW is quite strict on drinking so unless you look over 30, you are going to be carded. Just have the ID handy, and it is no big deal.

I got carded a few months ago and I am 35. I loved every minute of it. The laws here are very strict. How I always feel is if I am doing nothing wrong the law never bothers me. Same for being checked at the airport etc. It takes a few seconds out of your day.

Back in Oct. our daughter (21 at the time) was carded everywhere. When we dined at CG, she was carded in the lounge, and even though had that drink taken to our table, our dining room waiter once again carded her when a second drink was ordered.
