Will disney send you maps of the parks?

My 4 year old is obsessed with maps and we thought it would be a fun way to get her excited for our trip this September-

Has anyone had luck with this?

It doesn't hurt to ask. Some will say yes, some will say no. The policy is not to anymore and they would not for me, but they did for several others that asked at the same time.

Anyone remember when they would send you a personalized map based on the things you wanted to visit? I may still have a set of those around the house.

To the OP: Get the passporters guide. Go thorough the rides with your kid and have them circle the ones they like. it's a very good guide that rates each ride including the rating by a kid for a kid.

Hey, your son is like me collecting park maps when I was a kid! You can actually go to the contact us section of WDW website and write a personalized letter requesting park maps and entertainment schedules. I have done that previously with Disneyland, Busch Gardens, and Knotts Berry Farm. They have mailed me park maps and Busch Gardens have even sent me coupons and brochures for things around the area. Most theme parks will gladly comply with your request since it is in their interest to get you to go to their park to visit.

As I said - used to. They stopped doing it in 2014.

You would go on their website and choose the things you wanted to do in the order you wanted to do them and they would send them to you. They looked like this

email them and request them - this has giving the best luck that I have found for maps - they won't respond, but usually within a few weeks you will have maps

Those maps were so cool, my kids loved looking at them. There is something about a big paper map.

I was just looking at ours from a few years ago- back before SDMT. I was so hoping I could get new ones of the parks today and compare and contrast over the years.

I know we can still pick up the park maps, but they just aren't the same as those large, personalized ones.

I know. I used to love getting those. It's really a shame they stopped doing them. I have to see if I can still find my old ones. I hope I kept them!
