I remember hearing a service that Disney would stock ourshelves full of food for our trip for a fee. I've looked all over the internet and couldn't find anything about it. So if any one knows anything about this if they could please post what they know. Thanks in advance.

What resort are you staying at? do you have a kitchen?

Wow! That sounds like a terrific idea! I'd like to hear if non-DVCers can request this service.

I don't think so. We have to access the list on the DVC member site and I don't know anywhere else it's available.

Yet another reason to join the DVC, I guess. Enjoy! ::MickeyMo

You can use services like www.wegoshop.com and I have also heard that Goodings delivers too. It won't be waiting for you when you arrive, but it will be delivered to you after you arrive. I have not used either of these, but may do so this October, and I have heard good things about them. (people say Goodings is expensive though) I think there are other grocery delivery services too if you want to "shop around".

When I was younger, my mom ordered stuff at "Gourmet Pantry" and they put the perishables in the fridge. I wonder if they offer this through anything else now?

Go to the member site, it's under vacation planning for the grocery list and prices.

As DVC members, we've contemplated doing this in the past versus having to do the grocery stop. We're going in August and may try it. Does anyone know if you can have them get alcohol? I didn't see it on the list. Dh and I like to relax on the balcony and enjoy a beer sometimes. Thanks for the info! :sunny:

It's rather expensive and the list of available foods is quite limited. They don't actually stock anything, when you get to yoru room you call bell servies and they will bring it up. You have to put it away yourself. You're better off using WeGoSHop or making a grocery stop on the way to teh resort.

Ducklite is right. The stuff on the DVC list is limited and way overpriced for what you get. And you still have to put it away. Disney used to have the Deliver and Stock service from the Gourmet Pantry in DTD. We used it when we stayed in the villas or townhouses at the Disney Institute. But that hasn't been available for a long time. You'd be better off with WeGoShop.
