Will Blue Man Group still be around in 3 years?

I wanted to include a UO/IOA onsite stay for our trip next summer, but combining UO with WDW and Discovery Cove/SW is really starting to balloon the budget.

So unfortunately I'm thinking of nixing the UO stay (can't omit WDW because we have DVC pts expiring). It'll save significant money, and the WWofHP prolly will not be complete when we go, which would be a bummer.

I'd like to see the BMG, but we won't be going back for our UO/IOA stay until 2011 which stinks. Wanted to stay at PBH and do several days at the UO resort. I know UO really likes to keep things fresh and I'm worried that BMG may not be around in three years. I guess if not, then UO would replace it with something great as well.

Any predictions/thoughts?

I cant imagine that it wouldn't still be around. They built the theater specifically for the BMG.

i'm guessing it is there to stay.

the BMG in chicago has been here for years...........and no sign to have it moved out of town.

as long as there is a demand, it will stay there.

::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

The popularity of this show will keep it going for years:thumbsup2

It's worth noting that BMG's older venues have lasted, but they haven't had much luck with their newer venues. Hopefully this one will be different.

I am sure you know this, but for others that may be reading this thread, one does not need to be staying at Universal to see BMG. It is not part of Universal, but a separate theater accessible from City Walk. If someone wants to see the show, they could get BMG tickets for a night, drive over, have dinner at Citywalk and then head over to the theater. Then back to Disney. No Universal tickets needed. :goodvibes
