I've read threads where all FP+ have been erased after a person has added free dining, changed a date or otherwise modified existing reservations.
All of our FP+ are booked. We leave 9/5. We were initially going to take a town car from the airport since we were arriving at MCO so late, but we've changed our inbound flight to arrive earlier (plus my kids are now insisting on riding the "Mickey Bus"). Therefore, I'd like to add DME to our reservation at this point.
What is the likelihood that this will affect our FP+? For the record, we have a room only DVC reservation with tickets already linked.

but I'd say you should book with confidence. They transfer you to a different area to make Magical Express reservations and they don't even show on My Disney Experience app/site, so they should be an entirely separate animal. I booked our bus with. Original reservation, but the airline has changed our flights several times resulting in calls to change magical express and those changes have not affected my tickets, room or ADRs (I don't have my FP booked yet, though)
