We will be staying at WL and have an 8:30am reservation for the Epcot Princess Breakfast. This will be in June on a day when Epcot will not open until 9am. We are leaning toward driving our own car from WL to Epcot. Anybody have any experience with this to help us with timing? Will we be able to get into the Epcot parking lot if we leave WL around 7ish? Is it difficult once you get there to weed through people that may be waiting for rope drop? Once you get in, how long does it take to walk from the entrance to the Norway pavilion? It will be me, my husband and our 6 yr old DD. This is the one ADR that we definitely don't want to miss/be late for.

I can't help with the car end of it as we have always used Disney transportation to get around, but here is a slightly alternate plan to consider:

Drive from WL to the Boardwalk and walk in the back gate. You'll be closer to Norway and also closer to your car at the end of the day (assuming you tour Future World in the AM and World Showcase towards the end of your day).

As an added bonus, if the Boardwalk wasn't on your "to do" list this time around, you'll get to experience it, even if only for a little while.

Are you allowed to park all day at a resort at which you are not staying?

I would definitely drive the car for this one.
I'd aim to to leave WL at 7:15. The Epcot parking lot will be open.
That early in the morning, there will not be too many people to weed through. In addition, there will be a specific turnstile marked for guests with early ADR's (typically to the far left).
Shouldn't take more than 10 minutes, absolute max 15 to walk to Norway. You won't be fighting any crowds so it's an easy walk.

This is not a good plan, as it is against the rules to park at a resort you are not staying at for the purpose of visiting a theme park. There is technically a three hour time limit on parking at a resort to visit and/or dine there. It's also not really any closer to do this since they will be walking to Norway, which is on the complete opposite side of the lake from the WS entrance. That's probably the same distance as walking from the front gate to Norway, so it doesn't save any time.

Best Method:
. . . get up early
. . . walk to WL boat dock by 7:00am
. . . take "Blue Flag" boat to Contemporary
. . . take escalator to monorail level
. . . ride monorail to TTC
. . . transfer to Epcot monorail
. . . ride monorail to Epcot
. . . enter park and walk to breakfast
