Ohh curious too! I have only ever stayed in a Studio at VGC/GCH.

Same! Though we are booked in a 1-bedroom for next June. I'm super excited about it!

Technically, the room does sleep 9. And I'm guessing the 2 year old doesn't "count" towards that.

IMO, unless it’s a newborn that sleeps in a pack and play then they should count because it adds to wear and tear.

I believe the policy is under three doesn't count so I think you are correct. But I could be incorrect or misinformed.

Does this door in the 1-bedroom go to a closet or is it just utilities or something behind it?

Answering my own question. I found this video that was posted 2 years ago...shows a vacuum, broom, and dustpan in there.

Didn't expect to spark anger with my post

We did follow the rules. 10th person was 2 so didn't count towards the 9. Everyone got wrist bands at the pool and Disney didn't have an issue with it.

Great resort. I will leave it at that and check out.

Oh, it’s not anger at you… sorry with the way I worded it.

It’s more about the rooms getting a bare bones refurb and the often sited reason being because there wasn’t enough in reserves to cover what was needed to do some basic things like replace some beat up power outlets, the shower heads, or put a piece of glass over the sticky wood furniture in the primiary bedroom under the TV.

A higher level of wear and tear on the room by members (home resort or otherwise) than was projected leads to rooms getting run down a lot faster and either higher dues or a shortfall in getting the refurb that we all expected.

So…. that has my sensitivity level set on high for things that may cause a high level of wear and tear. It perks up even more when it’s a non-home resort owner because they bear none of the costs of either elevated dues or a subpar refurb.

I’m glad your family was able to enjoy the resort and the location. You were within the rules…. I just think Disney needs to change the rules or change the refurb schedule and budget to reflect reality.

I can agree with this especially for VGC since our was a supposed hard goods.

And also...it's crazy to me that people purchased VDH for $195 resale. Unless it's for a small contract, I guess.

I cannot imagine paying $195 for resale restricted points under any circumstances at any contract size. Yikes!
