Didn't get to stay at WL this time, but I did manage to get in a visit....

Thank you everyone who posted pics! I thought they were so beautiful, and I decided I had to check out WL for myself this past weekend. I FELL IN LOVE with WL.
As beautiful as those pics are, in person it is simply magnificent. I felt like I left Florida and was transported to the Pacific NW. I will be booking for my January trip!!
One question, are the views from the standard rooms really "that bad"? We don't plan on spending our day looking out of the window but I am curious if is worth the extra $$ for a woods view. We are going for 2 nights.
Janabananas, If you're not going to open the door for anything more than some fresh air and don't really care about a wall in your way or a loading dock below no problem. I like a cup of coffee on the balcony or to bring a drink back to the room and sit out there absorbing the atmosphere. So, for me a view is important. It's all about how you use the room & only you can determine the worth.
BTW - even with a woods view room you can still find a few stinkers as was our case one year - there's a worst view room pic thread here somewhere, I'll post a link if I can find it.
It's official, we booked our Feb trip today....bring on the pictures!
