GoofyontheHiSeas: You're famous! I just noticed your "Golden Zephyr" photo in the latest AllEars newsletter. (Well, I put two and two together and figured it had to be yours;)).

Bravo!

this is better than any travel brochure! :yay: We've never stayed here, but we're considering it for our next trip. We stayed at the GF last time, but we were lucky enough to have had a pin..... So we're looking at staying at the WL when we come back in 2013 .... it looks just absolutely gorgeous!!!! :goodvibes Thanks everyone for your beautiful pictures!!

Thank you everyone who posted pics! I thought they were so beautiful, and I decided I had to check out WL for myself this past weekend. I FELL IN LOVE with WL. :lovestruc

As beautiful as those pics are, in person it is simply magnificent. I felt like I left Florida and was transported to the Pacific NW. I will be booking for my January trip!!

One question, are the views from the standard rooms really "that bad"? We don't plan on spending our day looking out of the window but I am curious if is worth the extra $$ for a woods view. We are going for 2 nights.

Janabananas, If you're not going to open the door for anything more than some fresh air and don't really care about a wall in your way or a loading dock below no problem. I like a cup of coffee on the balcony or to bring a drink back to the room and sit out there absorbing the atmosphere. So, for me a view is important. It's all about how you use the room & only you can determine the worth.

BTW - even with a woods view room you can still find a few stinkers as was our case one year - there's a worst view room pic thread here somewhere, I'll post a link if I can find it.

:goodvibesGotcha!! Thanks for the info. I found the WL/VWL thread, after I posted my question and saw the map and pics there. We are only staying 2 nights and one of them we plan on going to EPCOT EMH til midnight. Then sleeping in til ??? followed by dinner at AP til close, then the lounge. I am now actually more worried about the noise then the view...;)

I am gonna check out the pricing for VWL just for options sake!! It is our anniversary, maybe we will get some upgrading via pixie dust.:goodvibes

Thanks everybody for ALL of these pictures - there great!!!! I can't wait until WL this December :)!!!

GoofyontheHiSeas,

These pics are insanely fantastic! :worship:

Is it December yet?? Kudos!!! Thanks for sharing.

Here is a picture I took a couple weeks ago during our trip. I'll post more later when I can get them all organized.

I really wish I hadn't stumbled in here. Our next trip is still 1 year and 13 days away. I am so homesick....... But the pictures are wonderful.

I'm not worried about getting that Standard room with the roof view of the balcony. I'm going next month...if I get that room, it means my front door opens to the lobby and then I'll have the best view of all!! LOVE THAT CHRISTMAS TREE!
