Wilderness Lodge Construction and Parking

I know there is construction going on at the WL. Is the parking there impacted at all? DD and I will be having lunch at Whispering Canyon on our early December trip. We are staying offsite for the first time and will have a rental car. We will be headed to the MK after lunch. My original thought was we would drive to the WL, have our lunch, then drive over to the TTC to park and go to the MK. But if there are parking headaches at WL, I'm wondering if we should park at the TTC to start, take boat transportation to the MK and transfer to the WL launch to get to our lunch, then boat transportation back to the MK. Which would be better?

Thanks, Sue. I tracked down the thread. It's almost 50 pages long, but I didn't see any complaints about parking issues with a quick glance through. One of the maps of the construction area shows the CM parking will eventually be impacted but the main parking lot looks to be unaffected, at least for now.

Stay tuned to that Wilderness Lodge thread because tomorrow, 10/26 is the commencement of the expansion. Fellow Dis'ers will be posting ground reports and hopefully sharing their experiences. FYI, I do not believe the parking will be impacted just because the major work is to start with VWL pool. That's just a guess though....

I am here right now. As of now parking isn't bad. Of course they tried to pawn off a woods view on ground level with a screen of the woods. I arrived yesterday (Sat) about 3pm and had no trouble parking.
