Are they ECV accessible? I would need to get it in and out to charge and hopefully out of any bad weather (NOT). I would hate to assume they are and then get there and be wrong.

Thanks.

You might want to do a search on the Camping forums here, you'll probably find the information that you're looking for. We've stayed at the Cabins on numerous occasions and the Cabins have stairs. They might possibly have some accessible cabins but I wouldn't be able to tell you for sure. Don't worry about outlets, boy they have plenty of them due to the golf carts :) We LOVE it at Ft. Wilderness, it's one of our favorites!

Yes some of the cabins have a ramp up to the cabins for a wheel chair or a ECV. When you book your cabin request one of these. If you have already booked call and have this info added to your reservation. You can call Fort Wilderness 407-824-2900 about 8 days before you arrive to let them know about the ECV but the ramp cabins might already be gone. Have a great trip. :cheer2:

I figured they must have some due to ADA rules but wasn't sure. When we book I will make this known so we will get one for sure. I don't know that I WILL need the ECV but I do know it helped alot the last time we were there. My health still hasn't taken the turn for the better that I had hoped so I may need it.

Thanks again for the replies.

We stayed in the cabins on two trips before joining DVC. The cabins were great--we saved money since we could eat some light meals in the room since it has a full kitchen.

The back bedroom has a double or queen bed and a set of bunk beds and there is a murphey bed in the living room. We especially liked the family being together rather than two rooms at other resorts. It has a ramp, picnic table on the deck, and accessible bathroom.

The cabins are a walk to the bus stop so people need to be aware of that. Probably no further than some resort hotel rooms to the bus stop but they are often a hike too!

Getting to FW from OKW was difficult for Hoop dee doo. I'd suggest going one night while you are already staying there!
