Jeff - sorry to hear about your Airport troubles. That really stinks. I hope you arrive home safely and get some sleep!

Kathy- Have fun with the dogs. We don't have one but we watch my Mom's dog for 7-10 days every year while she goes on vacation. She's a good dog and the kids love having her around. We are just so busy and rarely home that it wouldn't be fair to the dog if we were to get one.

Rain, rain go away........yuck! What a lousy morning here in Jersey. Oh well...I guess I'm going to get some cleaning done today after Jazzercise class. Boy the Easter Carribbean is looking REALLY good right about now!

Yes, as you can see, we like to get everything out of the way at once ! Bill picked our wedding date to be the day before his b-day so he'd never forget. Me, however ... I always have to stop and think when someone asks!

For my husband's birthday, I'm getting my hair done! Yes, I'm the gift that keeps on giving ....

Our gloomy, dreary, chilly weather is finally supposed to break today and we'll see that thing ... oh, what's it called ? ... it's yellow and warm and lives in the sky ... anyhoo, that's supposed to show up again today thru the weekend with highs of 79, so I will be one happy Buckeye!

Jeff, when I was in college I had flown out to California to see one of my brother's. Had a layover in Houston on the way back. When we arrived at just after 10:00, they told us our connecting flight had not arrived, but they had us booked at 8:30 the next morning (woo-hoo). I, like you, have much difficulty sleeping in those situations, so I was walking around and messing around. I decided I would ride the airport train for a while just to be doing something. Well, I missed the announcement about it stopping running at around 2:30. So, the train reaches the last stop and the doors don't open. Now, this is 1986, no cell phones, no nothing. I ended up having to force the doors open so I could get out. So, you did the right thing by staying in place!

Thanks Bob and Kelly and as for YOU Kathy.....I'm NOT bald, I'm follically challenged--can we keep the language politically correct in here, please? So my drug of choice in the new millenium is rogaine ....grrrr....I'm still a pup at heart! You all behave!!

Our anniversary is right after my dh's birthday too! I didn't realize so many others had the same idea we did. I guess we're not as original as we thought.

I will admit, it has been an extremely busy and stressful day today. I had planned to be out of the office by noon, yet I am still sitting here at nearly 3:00. This has become the never-ending project.

Hey guys, it's MUTT's birfday? I gotta mark this day down on my calender!
FRIDAY! No more work, or in my case, no more school!

Model UN is fine thanks for not asking (wink,wink; nudge,nudge). I had to learn about hte UN first because I'm new. Did you know that the UN started in 1945? Did you know that the permenant pact was France, China, US, UK, and USSR. The USSR part makes no sense because the USSR started the Warsaw Pact during the Cold War.

Soooo, what a boring day. Wonder what M*A*S*H has instore for us today?

It was a lovely day....I did a nice walk in the mornin (just a smidge over 12 miles through our Cuyahoga Nat'l Forest)...then got on the grass....took the monkey for a nice, tiring walk and now I'm getting ready for dinner (guess who's buying???) WOOHOO!

The wife finally showed my her finished pirate costume...(hands off, boys...she's mine!!!!!) arrrrr....

Anyway.....that was my day....hope everyone here had, at the very least, a decent day at work or school. FRIDAY!!!!

Kathy....just one word if we's a-gonna have a fight....PARLAY. stick to the code, dear....I get to see the captain before anything bad happens....hehe...

Slept from about 9:30 to 3. Told all my clients I'd be "indisposed" today. The epilogue is that I'm still waiting for my bag to be delivered to my house because of course it got lost even though i was the first one to check in for my flight - when you stay overnight in a chair next to the ticket counter, it's easy to be first. Checked my bag against my better judgemtn, but i was just so tired I didn't want to have to lug it from Terminal F to C and go through the security stuff with anytbhng more than my briefcase and laptop.

But all's well that ends well. And the lesson I learned from thi sis to NEVER take the last flight out of Philly (or anywhere for that matter). Stay another night if I have to.

Well just got home from work. I found out today that DD dog has been jumping up and trying to look out my front window and has scracted up all the wood. ( I have a bay window) I'm really sick about it. We are going to have to sand it all down and restain all the wood. Once again this is going to be a long year......

Have to go out and cut some lawn right now. I will be back later to post some more. I think we are doin a dandy job with all our posts.

Kathy you have worked extremely hard today with keeping the posts going. I'm very proud of you.

Wendy...oddly enough, dinner is my choice and we're going to a restaurant with a chef who specializes in cajun food. I can't imagine that would guilt him into anything...that can't be too earth-shaking where you live (its a bigger deal here). I guess my best friend and wife will be joining us so it should be a pleasant evening all around. I think a margarita is in order...that or a toasted almond (amaretto, kahlua and cream).
