Good Evening Everyone,
Today was another rainy and nasty day here in NY. Well today me friend came over with her twin boy :cloud9: :cloud9: ( 1 month old) and we have lunch. I bought DS Christmas Outfit :santa: :santa: :santa: since I am having the Christmas pictures done on the cruise. The hardest part is finding black shoes for him. Saturday I am food shopping in the morning and then we are off to the mall to look for a winter jacket for DS at The Children's Place. Sunday we are going to DH's parents for his niece's 3rd Birthday Party. Not a very exciting weekend :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc !!

Mutt: :bday: :bday: :bday: :bday:

Talk to you all tomorrow- DS is crying!!! Gotta go

Hello All!

Mutt - Happy B'day!! party:
Shell - nice prezzie - made me laugh LOL :dance3:
Denise - Sorry to hear about the window. We had a few of those instances with our DH (dear huck pluto:) too. From chewing up EVERYTHING when she was young to a bought with incontinence just last year (did you know dogs can get colitis?!?). Anyway, deep breaths!!
Josh - I did a model UN when I was in high school. I was Ghana :teeth: . It was very fun and quite educational. The fact that I can remember it goes to show that I quite enjoyed it LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!
jd - sorry about all the plane hassles! Getting to YYZ is always a pain! They have been talking about expanding the subway out there forever, but I don't see it happening. Traffic is a nightmare though! Glad you are home and got some zzzzs
Tigger - have you seen the Robeez? They are really cut leather slipper-like shoes for little ones. They have some really cute designs, but also some in black. I loved them for DS as they don't slip off and aren't rigid like some other baby shoes. Just a thought.
Congrats to everybody on the WW stuff - combined we're talking like 500 lbs!!!!!!!!!!! That's amazing :thumbsup2

So, the job hunt continues. I think I have moved from denial into anger. I just couldn't be bothered to do anything at work today and was generally pissy. I have been working my network and hope that something will come back from some of my e-mails.

Everyone cry for my Packers. I may have to defect back to my Dad's team - the Cowboys. I stopped watching them a few years back when it was like a soap-opera, but at least the vultures aren't circling down in TX like they are in WI (is that right for Wisconsin???).

Anyway, hope everyone has a GREAT weekend. I'll try and pop in and do my part to keep the count going!

Good evening. (evil laughs followed by thunder crackling in the background...) :stir: :stir:

:thumbsup2 Just wanted to see what you all are up to. My mom and aunt are talking about the trip as I write this.

I'm not sure about any of you, but the very first thing we do after we get on the ship is go to topsiders. Gonna get me some shrimp... and stuff. I can't really remember what I had the first time there. Remember the purple napkins? I still remembered how they felt...

See you all tommorrow!

P.S. Does anyone get the riddle I have as my signature? "There are only 10 kinds of people: those that know binary and those that don't"

Mutt, Margaritas now you are talking that is first and foremost my drink of choice. Last year I bought a kick a** blender just so I could make better ones. :rotfl2: Mike loved that, but he can't complain he is a man who owns his own skis and we live in the south. :confused3

Josh we love topsiders too our favorite is one of the cakes that they have for dessert with fruit on the top. yummmm :goodvibes

JD glad you are home and all rested :thumbsup2

Lynn, good luck with the shopping, its a favorite sport of mine :lmao:

Dutchsmommy, I feel your pain when it comes to pro teams we have the Saints and saying that they suck is being kind. I guess thats why I love college ball instead.

Bob, I will try to be more talkative tomorrow so we can keep those post up

Wendy

Good evening everyone!

The weekend's finally here! :woohoo: :woohoo:

Got a big weekend of college football coming up! :happytv: Wendy & Sarah -- I feel your pain about NFL -- for some silly reason I'm a die-hard Raiders fan and there's not much to cheer about these days. Except maybe when the end of the season arrives! :lmao:

My Huskers play USC and will probably get beat. Hopefully they will make it respectable. Wendy -- LSU looks to have a battle on their hands. There are some other great match ups as well.

Denise -- so sorry to hear about your window (and your dog's peed-on bed). Hang in there so you don't go  .

JD99 - glad to hear you're home safe & sound! What a nightmare -- no pun intended.

Better go get DD into bed.

Enjoy the weekend!

Cheri  :yay:

 Evening all: It's me again :goodvibes :goodvibes

Lawn is cut....huge job we have a huge lot. So with the rider mower and hand mower it still takes close to 1.5 hours to do. Before we moved into this house, the house we lived in before had a really tiny front lawn and a "normal" size back lawn. So when we picked the lot for the house to be built on my DH decided on a corner lot, so we have two large front lawns plus the two sides the large back and we have to keep up the burm (sp). So after living here for 12 yrs, Wally is always saying we should have had this lawn when the kids were little and we were younger :confused3 What the heck were we thinking :confused3 :confused3 . Oh well, were thinking of down sizing in a couple of years anyway...as soon as we can talk DS into moving out. :rolleyes1

Well I will be back later to keep up the posts.

Later
Denise

Evenin all....thank you Lynn and Sarah....very much.
Its weird that these boards started jumping late on Friday....thats atypical for us....but s'ok with me.

Wendy....just so ya know, I DID have my margarita. The bad thing was I don't drink much, I barely ate all day, I did a pretty rough workout and some stuff in the yard.
Shell will probably verify all this but that one drink pretty well cut me down midway through the meal...but I DID have a good time. I'm one of those happy kinda people after I've had a few...My friend said he would start my "training" for the cruise next week. I honestly would like to remember bits and pieces of it.

Have a great evening gang

Good morning,
boy am I posting late today, it's 7:30!! :hourglass
I have been up since 4 a.m. when DH took our son to the airport, at that time his Lab started to cry and howl, so Minnie decided she should be polite and join with her guest and cry and howl too. :sad2:
This went on until around 6 a.m. when DH returned. Poncho was upset Randy was gone, but Minnie kept him busy playing. They are testing each other right now, if you have dogs you know what I mean!!!
Poncho is twice as big as her, thank goodness both are NOT agressive dogs.

I did move all my Disney figurines into the bedroom for safety!!

It is going to be an interesting week around here. :rolleyes1

Anybody got any plans this weekend??
If so let us know, we need to keep the posts coming to reach our goal!!
Bill, how was the dinner last night??

Have a great day everyone, ours will be interesting for all, I'm sure.

Kathy

Mornin everyone....
Dinner was awesome Kathy... I had some creole eggrolls (one of their house specialties) and a seafood pasta. It was very nice and now that all the celebrations are over....its all down to the wait for the big boat...thats 10 weeks from now kids...70 days.....with all the leaves starting to turn its just amazing how time flies. Seems like I noticed a lot more...I watched as pitchers and catchers reported for spring training and now there are 16 games left...at least for our hapless Indians. I walk past a farm on my trots and remember the first plantings to the first sproutings. Yesterday they finally tilled everything over for winter. Anyways....have a good Saturday...go Bucs....hope everyone has a great day.

Good Morning Nana Heads  ,
This morning is still a nasty rainy day. Perfect day to go shopping!! Well just came back from food shopping. DS loves Elmo. My sister bought him this Build A Bear Elmo that is the size of DS. I will post a picture later when I get back from the mall. I was looking at the threads last night and everyone was talking about theses new shoes called Crocs. I bought a pair because they are suppose to be very confortable and very light. Anybody have them??? Have a great weekend !!!

Mutt: Glad to hear you enjoyed your birthday :thumbsup2 !!

Kathy: Sounds you have your hands full with the dogs :dogdance: :dogdance:!! Good Luck!!

DutchsMommy: Thanks, I am going to look for the shoes today!! :thumbsup2 Things will get better with the job search!!

Good morning, Banana Heads

Well, the weatherman promised blue skies and sun. He lied so far. Nuttin' yesterday or this morning but clouds. But again, he is promising a break this afternoon and sun tomorrow. Let's just say, it'd better happen this time or he's going to get a knock on his door with a very unhappy Woo on the other side ... :furious:

Yesterday I became a redhead. I go darker in the fall and lighten up again come spring ... wait! What am I saying?! I mean, I NATURALLY go darker in the fall and then NATURALLY get blonder in the spring and summer :rolleyes1 Yeah, that's the ticket.

Denise, I know you're not really finding this little bit of destruction in your home funny, but y'know when you look in their eyes and say "what did you do", they give you such a sweet look that you can't possibly get mad! :dog: He's just havin' fun at Grandma's!

Kathy, my parents are heading back to Mt. Dora this Sunday, so hopefully your weather is better that it is here! They're making a couple of stops to see friends on the way down and will get home probably a week later.

Wendy said something funny to me the other day. She said for as much as we all talk in here, wouldn't it be just perfect if we all got to the Promenade at 3:00 and none of us knew what to say to each other?! Dead silence! :lmao: Oh, I don't think so! I'm figuring that the womenfolk will be playing "Pass the Baby" with little Drew and Laura, while the menfolk (led by Bill and Mike) will be playing "Who Can Fart and Belch the Loudest". :rotfl2: (unfortunately for the womenfolk, that game will probably last for 7 nights :sad2: )

Have a great one! Let's keep these posts coming ... we have a GOAL, people! :rotfl:

:lmao: Ask Wendy about Mike's Electric Yellow crocs. There's no way of losing the guy in a crowd!

Good Morning

Dh and I slept in a little bit this morning. We went to a comedy show last night that was a fundraiser for Easter Seals. The guy is brutal. His whole act is more or less based around people in the audience. Fortunately for me and DH we found a nice seat in the back of the room.

I'm hoping the sun starts peeking out here at some point. I'm so tired of overcast skies and rain. I could use a dose of sunshine.

Not too much going on here this weekend. Our DS has testing in Karate for his next belt and then we are heading to my brother's house for a few hours to visit with my niece(8 mos) and my godson (4). Then it's off to a nice dinner out. On Sundays we generally go to Church and then a quick lunch with some friends from Church followed by hanging out at home watching football and lounging around. A fairly quiet weekend but one that I'm looking forward to.

I hope everyone has a great day!

Kelly

Lynn, yes my husband has yellow crocs I bought them as a joke because yellow is his favorite color well the joke is on me that man wears them EVERYWHERE :rotfl2: .
I have a pair of black ones and also the sandals which I do where alot they are very comfortable. I will have tyo post a pic of Mike proudly wearing those shoes on our vacation this spring in Gatlinburg.

Woo, I think I am starting to feel sorry for our servers in the dining room once we all link ressies.

Hey Nana Heads     ,
Got back from the Mall alittle while ago. Got DS the cutest Winter Jacket and matching hat and mittens at the The Children's Place. I am so bad when I buy DS clothes!! I think everything is so cute and I have to buy it!! Well I am off to figure out how to download two songs from Walmart. Talk to you all later!!

disneediva: My DH did not want a pair!! I should do what you did!!!
I am glad to hear that you like them and they are comfortable.

Kathy: How are the dogs doing?? I hope being good :dogdance: :dogdance: !!

Hey everybody, Hope you are enjoying your weekend. We left the kids at home and went out last night. We did the Habachi style Japanese food. We got there pretty early and had to entire restaurant to ourselves. I think it would have been more fun with a few other people around.

Afterwards we went to see Little Miss Sunshine. It was a geat movie. I really enjoyed it. We got up today and Kevin is painting our living room. It's the third time in 4 1/2 years. I think we got it right this time.

My son is sick. He has an unexplained stomach thing he gets on occasion. When he was 2 he started getting it quite a bit. Our doctor did Xrays and all kinds of test but nothing ever explained it. Now he only gets it every 4 - 6 months. I hope he's done until next year. He is so grumpy but so sweet. Well, he's screaming at my husband who's trying to finish cleaning up the paint. I guess I should go before it gets ugly.

Take care and be safe.

while the menfolk (led by Bill and Mike) will be playing "Who Can Fart and Belch the Loudest". :rotfl2: (unfortunately for the womenfolk, that game will probably last for 7 nights :sad2: )

 I'm sure there will be quite a bit of that going on

:rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Well we just got done cutting down a few trees in our yard. Now I have to start some house cleaning around here. Actually it's a nice and warm sunny day here today. But by tomorrow evening we are getting rain then all next week only in the 60's.

Kathy: Belive me, I know what your going thru with the dogs.... :sad2: I would like to tell you it gets better :confused3 but I dont know. Just hang in there.

Well I'm glad that we surpassed our banana count...lets keep this going and we should have our 4000 by curise time.

Later

Just back from the Pitt-Michigan State game. Jan, that was a big a whooping as i have witnessed in a LONG time. Hopes were high in the first quarter, then a different msu team came out in the 2nd quarter. Geez. So get your order in early. See you at the Promenade and the drink's on me (and my stinking panthers! -- is it hoops season yet?)
