Hello Everyone    ,
It stinks that the New York Yankees and losing to Boston :furious: :furious: !!! Well let me go watch the end of the game :thumbsup2 !! Talk to you later!!

Kathy: A few more banana for you

Happy Saturday everyone!
Adding a few more for the count. (What was/is our Nana goal? I know we "need" 4000 posts and Denise needs 1000 posts herself, but couldn't remember the  quota. Kathy????? :confused3 )

We are having a beautiful :sunny: day here today -- it's a bit windy, but I'm not complainin' (Lynn & everyone else in the east, hopefully this weather will get to you in a few days. :thumbsup2)

So far, it's a nice, quiet day. I ran a 5-mile race this morning, DH mowed the lawn, and I touched up the mulch in our flower beds. :woohoo: :woohoo: (We lead such exciting lives!)

Denise, I feel your pain about the yard maintanence. We're on a 2+ acre lot. Luckily about 1/2 is trees and some underbrush. We've talked about clearing out the junky trees, but then we'd probably need 2 of the commercial strength mowers to get 'er done! :crazy2:

Mutt -- hats off to you for going 12 miles the other day! :worship: I'm very impressed!

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: to everyone working on diet/exercise plans. We should be one sharp group of Nanas & Turkeys by the time we sail :sail: !!!

All you dog-sitters, hang in there! :dogdance: I'm cat-sitting for my parents this weekend. Luckily, that just constitutes walking the 1/4 mile to their house, putting food out for the cats, and walking back. :cool1:

Better get back out to enjoy the :sunny: . It may be the last warm day we have for a while!

Take care! :wave2:

Cheri :yay:  :yay:

Good Morning Nana Heads,

Well today we are off to a Disney Princess princess: princess: princess: princess: princess: Birthday Party for our niece. Well DH is making breakfast eggs and Hash Browns Mmmmmmmmmmm!!! Have a good day and I will talk to you all later!!

good morning,

boy its a lot of work and very educational watching two dogs!!!!
I have learned a lot in 24 hours, hopefully today will be less confrontation over small things. :rolleyes1

Sunny :sunny: and hot still today, no news just wanted to add to our count, it seems on the weekends people are busy, so they post less. We need to keep our 25 a day or what ever it was to make our 4000 posts. :Pinkbounc

will post later, if the dogs let me!! :confused3
Kathy

Well, the adventure never ends in our house. We were having a nice relaxing morning at church today. I look over to see both of my daughters scratching their heads non-stop. I tell my Kevin to switch seats with my 6 yo. I look into her hair and find it covered in lice. I didn't even notice this morning since I was in such a hurry. So we left church immediately. Stopped by the Walgreens and spent over $100 for enought stuff to treat the whole family and house. I don't think I have it yet, but I'm a little paranoid. We are supposed to go to a homeschool picnic today. I think now that we've been treated we'll be ok. Now I have to call all my daughters friends and warn them to check their kids. What fun. :scared1:

Hoping everyone's day is better. Here a few extra bananas.

OMG Carrie  ! Well, uh ... I think a "Have a Better Week" is appropriate for you! :thumbsup2

Today is beautiful here in NE Ohio, so I'm spending my Sunday afternoon laying out and getting the last few days of rays :sunny: . Feels SOOOOOO good!

Have a great day

Hi Carrie,
boy your post brought back memories of my kids younger days!!!!Lice,
been there, done that!!! :sad2:
Your not alone, I use to help do lice check for the school, and it is very common.
Good luck!
Poncho is swimming and Minnie talking at him like he is crazy, she hates the water. :confused3

well cant leave those 2 kiddies alone for 2 minutes, gotta run, will check back later

keep those posts coming, :surfweb: our count is going great!!

Kathy

 Afternoon all!!!! Well what a day I had already. I got up early and took a drive into Chicago to visit with my Dad. We went to breakfast and then back to his place for awhile. On the way home, stopped and did grocery shopping  Then, DH tells me that our firewall had expired and he thinks we have a virus (cuz the computer told him so) which we dont, all it was is that they wanted us to buy their product...so the computer is fine and we still have our firewall.. :cheer2: :cheer2:

Now I get to go and start dinner..

I will be back later today to help keep these posts up...

Carrie... :guilty: Sorry about the head lice....been there with my DD when she was about 4...I remember spraying the carpeting and pillows and bedding and whatever else we could think of and washing all our hair and sitting on the porch with a comb and going thru her hair to make sure all the eggs were out.....yuk....never wanna do that again.

Have a great afternoon and will be back later

Denise

Carrie-sorry to hear about the "little bugs" as most moms I went throught that as well-I think they better stuff now to treat you with than when my kids were little...

Kathy-can feel you pain about babysitting someone else's dog-we sit for my sister in laws dog-he needs to have a wiping after he "poos" because he has such long hair---WHAT A MESS !!!!

Beautiful weather in PA today-DH's job is lawncare-since we have had so much rain, all his customer's lawns are out of control so he is out working today :sad2:

Went to the mall to look at the pirate pirate: outfits-think I will wait till the day after hallowween or try to make something myself (should be funny).

Have a great day......Okie

Hello Fellow Wild Turkeys!

Friday was a VERY hectic day. One thing that makes consulting work difficult is that you can't use the excuse that what you don't finish today can wait until tomorrow. Especially when you have a nother client expecting you at their office tomorrow. So, I had to work my tail off to finish up all the work last week, and the client just kept piling in additionaly little things to drag it out!

But, yesterday was great. We went to the Ga. Tech versus Troy University game and had a blast. We won 35 to 20, and had fun tailgating before and after the game!

Wendy: Apparently you didn't specify the Tigers you were urging on and let Auburn slip up and beat you guys! :rolleyes1

Have a great Sunday everyone!

Now TiggerKing I am still getting over the loss and Auburn didn't beat us the refs did. All you had to do was watch that game to see whose side the calls were made for. I know I know I sound like all those other dare i say it losing teams, but its true in our case :rotfl2:

I'm hoping next week will be better.

Off to help DS study talk with ya'll soon
Wendy

Okie,
my parents use to have a pomeranian with a bob tail tons of fluffy fur, he was named fluffy. believe me my mom had a different name for him every time he "went" too !!! She was always having to cut stuff off his hair, she even cut his tail hair as short as she could, but since it laid down instead of curling over his back, it was no use. Our biggest thrill was to get up during th night to use the bathroom and step on a little ball of  that had fallen off his fur .
Childhood memories!! :rolleyes1

Dogs are both sleeping right now. I guess an hour swim after 2 long walks followed by 2 hours of fetch wore them out. I know I am wore out.

Hope everyone had a good weekend. :dance3:

Well, one round of rain has already come through; not sure if more is on the way. I did notice that Tuesday's high is supposed to be in the 50's. :furious: (Just not ready for fall quite yet!!!!)

Carrie -- what a nice way to start the day. Hope your week gets much better!! ;)

Have a good night everyone!

:) Hello:

Kathy: I hear you about the dogs. Although I think Louie is starting to get "better" he has quit licking Jack's paws. Last night it was cute, I guess he was "tired" and went up to bed..he beat us to bed... :rotfl: The dogs are just laying her chewing on their chew bones. :)

Well have to work the dreaded late shift tomorrow. So I wont get home till 8;30/8:45 yuck....then I have to work saturday for 4 hrs. the only good thing is I get off work at noon on thrusday.... :cheer2: The following saturday 30th...is my Toby Keith concert.. :cloud9: cant wait.....I got my tickets in the mail friday.. :woohoo: just hope the weather holds....its outside stadium. However, even if it rains I'm under the covered section, so I wont miss any of him... I mean the show. :rolleyes1

I'll be back later....

Hey has anyone heard from Ron (lampy) lately????
