Hopefully the seller of the DVD isn't the same person who sold Sarah her pirate costume! :sad2: Good luck, Lynn!!!

So, this new house you're building -- is it huge with a large wide "hallway" down the center and rooms lining both sides of the hall, each room labeled with a large sign overhead? Perhaps an indoor play area and a fountain?? Will the yard have sets of parallel lines set on a diagonal to resemble a parking lot?? :lmao: Just thought your new home may resemble your "second" home!!! :rotfl2:

BTW Sarah -- what ended up happening with that whole situation?? pirate: Hope you got your money back. . .

I wish it was like my 2nd home :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: !!! You gave me a good laugh with that one :teeth: :teeth: :teeth: !!

Hi all you nanas! My computer was kaput the last couple of days, so I wasn't able to post.

So guess what I did? Come on, guess

:confused3

I FINISHED THE COSTUMES!!! Yeppers! We had a small costume crisis today before the show, and I had to run to Joann's for more material. I actually excused myself to the front of the line and thanked everyone behind me for "supporting the arts" :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

More later

Morning, All!

Sarah, what happened with the pirate costume? I thougth you guys looked great in your photo! Actually, ALL your photos!

Bruce is up and out to his first skiing this year. He was a very happy boy this morning.

I have a list of things to do as long as your arm - on top off all I did yesterday. Wish some of you scrapbookers lived closer - there's a New Year's eve eve crop at the local store and we could make it a cruise book party!

Lynn, do you have a 'lot' to put your house on? Can't wait to hear more about it.

Here is baby Drew's most typical pose - EATING - that boy is a chow hound! Here, he's sucking watermelon from an ingenious device.

On the last morning, while waiting to disembark, Celine and Anika found us in the promenade lounge, and Bruce snapped this photo.

Good Morning     ,
It's another cold morning here in NY but is suppose to go up to 50 :sunny: :sunny: later today. Today we are off to Sam's Club this morning and then we are going to make Chistmas cookies. Yummy :cheer2: :cheer2: !!!! My goal is to get my calenders and my scrapbook of the cruise done before Christmas.
Well I am going to make eggs for breakfast so let me go cook!! Have a great day talk to you all later     !!!

Linda: Great Picture :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 !!! That's the best pictures of Drew because he is doing his favorite thing eating :teeth: :teeth: :teeth: !!!
The builder is going to get a piece of land that we like and then build a house on it!!

Howdy everyone,

Linda, loved the picture, hope all goes well for them.

Lynn, cant wait to hear details of your new house. that is always so exciting.
DH use to own his own construction company and I got to help design our first house a few years back. it was still my favorite house we have ever lived in. It will be very exciting for you I'm sure.
Be sure and have a couple extra bedrooms for Drew to have a couple brother or sisters in the future!!!

well we are suppose to get to 70 today.
Minnie and Greg are asleep in his recliner this morning. That cold medicie makes Greg sleepy and Minnie likes to curl up on him, she is only 55 pounds!!!
She thinks she is a little girl and likes to snuggle with her daddy. :lmao:

Ok, we have decided no matter what we are going to get our tree up today!!
But not til afternoon.

Have a great day everyone,

kathy

Howdy all,

Today is DD 15th birthday party...birthday is tomorrow...I can't believe she is already 15 and Josh will be 17 next month-not possible since I'm only 25 :lmao:

Buying and putting up our Christmas tree after the birthday party....

Still no luck with finding our camera-we keep hoping some kind soul will send it to us in the mail.... :sad2:

DH just burned our first DVD of our cruise-makes me want to be back there right now!!!

Have a great day.... :cool1:

Hi all!

Just taking a break from putting up the tree and other decorations. I've "watched" A Christmas Story twice and Mickey's Magical Christmas once.

I've run out of hooks and can't find which bin has the extras I bought last year. I obviously wasn't smart enough to put them with the ornaments! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

So onto other decorations in the hopes the package of hooks is tucked in one of those bins.

Not much else going on here. Kathy, how is your tree coming along??

Better get back at it now that my "helper" is upstairs with DH!!!

Have a good evening!

Cheri :yay:

Good Night      ,

I hope everyone had fun putting up their Christmas trees and decorations. We made one batch of Christmas Cookies. It is very hard with Drew!! Well I am going to watch TV with DH. Just wanted to check in. Oh, I started writing a cruise report. I will let you know when I post it. Talk to you tomorrow.    Good Night!!!

WEll, our tree is up but there's nothing on it! I went back to the market and did the perishables today. What's up with food prices?! 2 pieces of fish, one ham, 1 chicken, fresh fruit, veggies, dairy, bakery and $250! I was glad Bruce wasn't with me - he'da hada stroke!

He was having trials of his own - went skiing - 4 trails open - $64 lift tickets (he used his free one) and got run over by a snowboarder, so he came home moaning and groaning. When do you think it will dawn on him - he's not 36 any more?

Just talking to a friend who built a cottage in the adirondacks . . . so of course the chat turned to housing and we both agreed - WE HAVE TOO MUCH HOUSE! We wish we had only one level, and fewer rooms that only get used once a year. I hate housework. Do you guys use all your rooms?

I'm going to a New Years Eve Eve crop at the LSS to do my cruise album. They give you dinner and prizes and you can scrap in peace. What's not to like? Lynn, why don't you guys come up - the guys can hang out and we can go scrap?

Evening all: Wow what a weekend. Went shopping yesterday. I bought a photo printer, then came home and printed out tons of pictures to put into my photo album. Then I put the tree up. Worked on labeling all my pictures and finally went to bed around midnight.

Got up this morning, and DS and I decorated the tree and put up a few decorations. I am only putting up a few this year. Just dont feel like pulling everything out. Made dinner, now going to do some laundry and watch tv. Phew am I tired.

Shell: Great Picture :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Well have a great evening everyone....

Later

Howdy,

Cheri,
we got the tree up and all decorated. it did take a little longer than usual since Minnie insisted on sniffing each and everything that went on the tree as well as the tree itself. It is her first Christmas.

Lynn,
I will be looking for your cruise report. Maybe Drew will take an extra long nap so you will have time to write it.

Linda,
we have 3 extra bedrooms we only use once every 2 years on the average and 2 full baths we never use unless we have company . We actually have 6 bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths. 2 of the guest rooms have full bathroom which NOBODY is allowed to use unless we have company staying in the rooms. That way I just dust sometimes and it is all set.

Our next house will be all one level and much smaller too. Our bedroom is upstairs and by bedtime each night we have to drag ourselves up there.

Good night all,

kathy

Hey Linda,
That sounds great to come hang out!! Oh, I hate Housework and I only have two bedrooms right now could image the cleaning I will have when we get our house :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: !!!

Good Morning     ,
Well today is another cold day here in NY!!! Well today DH took my truck in for oil change and inspection. Today I am going to clean and dust my downstairs and Drew's room. Last night I finished one out of four calenders that I am making for my mom and sisters'. Well let me go because Drew is getting to Minnie's toys    . I should have just bought my son cat toys for Christmas :teeth: :teeth: :teeth: :teeth: !!! Talk to you all later    !!!

Kathy: My cruise report is about 25% done. I will try to finish it when he naps!!

Hello Everyone!!!
Brendon and I got in late on Saturday.
We had a great time meeting everyone and a wonderful trip.
The 2nd week of our cruise the weather was much better. the seas were calm and there was no rain. also the second week at all the buffets and drink stations were we were able to serve ourselves the first week, they served you. (even palo bruch!)
I will post more soon!!

Happy Monday all,

Lynn,
I know it may take a while to get your report done. I had 4 kid and the first two were only 15 months apart, so I do remember how busy they can make your day, Plus they never sleep when you have something you want to do.

I hope to get out and get my stocking stuffers today, then I will be done shopping!! HOORAY!!! Then I can do some baking :stir: which I love to do. However I will have to restrain myself with only 3 people to eat stuff I will have too many leftovers. I am use to baking for 25 plus people.

Hope everyone is getting all their holiday stuff ready. Cruising when we did made it a little harder for me this year. I couldnt decorate ahead of time because Minnie would of got into things while we were gone. she is worse than a little kid ;)

Have a great day y'all.

Kathy

Tiara Bob,
are you still there?? We havnt heard from you in a while. Hope you two are feeling good. My son is suppose to put our pictures on a CD today so I can get it in the mail this week.

I just got all the pictures from the last 2 cruises printed so I can get busy and finish my photo album/ scrap books done for each cruise. I hope to get them done this week, but that is probably dreaming a bit!!

Is anyone else going to post a trip report besides Jeff, Lynn and myself?? I would love to read them, especially with pictures.

Oh, by the way thanks to those who posted all their great photos, we really enjoyed looking at them.

Kathy

Athene,
I was hoping you would have a smoother cruise the second week and NOT get ill like a lot of us did.

I did read about them having CM's serve you know. I think it is just to help control sanitation until after the flu season is over. They use to serve you all the time, then changed to self serve which we like better, but I do understand the need to control the germs as much as they can.

I hope you are going to write a trip report for us to read too. :thumbsup2

Kathy

Good Monday Morning Everyone:

Kathy: Yes, I am still here. We had our Christmas Concert at church this weekend, so the end of last week through yesterday was VERY busy. But, now it is back to the real grindstone of work!

Athene: Sounds like the outbreak on our cruise must have been pretty significant if they went to that much trouble on the Western. Hopefully, no one else had to deal with what some of us went through!

Talk to you all soon!

Hello everyone  ....it's the first time I've had a chance to get the boards since we returned. It was great meeting you and we had a great time. Disney sure lives up to what we had hoped and very comperable to our experiences on RCC & Celebrity and we should definately do it again. I would be happy if they just left me at Castaway Cay for a week!

We did experience the "stomach ick" in our family as well. The day we got off the ship we made our way to Disney World to spend a few days in MK. Well, that afternoon sure enough my son got sick with the stomach bug! I spent the rest of that day in the hotel with him while Andy, Hailey & my inlaws hit the MK. Mk was crazy that Saturday because they were filming the Christmas parade. The lines were nuts! Jared was well enough to go to the park the next morning but Andy took him back to the hotel at lunch time since he was tired and I was able to spend the rest of the day with Hailey in the park. I hadn't been there in 13 years so it was great to experience the park again...it's just too bad me, Andy and the kids couldn't experience it together.

We don't have any definate plans to cruise Disney in the near future but we will at some point. Maybe our paths will cross again!

Shell, your pictures were great...thank you for sharing!
