I found myself strangely drawn to the computer as soon as we arrived home but it took me until now to post. It was GREAT to meet so many of you great folks. I think the day one meet had to set some records at the Promenade Lounge and it was truly great to run into folks everywhere we went.
Some

highlights:
1. First and foremost Elizabeth and Stacey getting to "meet" online before the cruise and then becoming fast friends at the Promenade Lounge Meet and hanging out with each other all week while still each making lots of friends in the lab. Elizabeth asked if she can "meet" someone in advance the next time we cruise too. She was VERY sad to be leaving her new friend and said she wants to move to Florida (yah..me too) and go to Stacey's school. Getting to meet Pat & Steve and Esther and Steve and Cullen and Laura was really a highlight for us as a family.
2. The Sunny Liston tour with so many DIS folks and even running into Cheri & Bill at Sapphire Beach where they had gone on their own. The bus ride back to the ship was great fun too.
3. Having the pleasure of sitting with Pat and Esther at the Martini tasting. Pat was great to have in our tasting session as she scored everyone in the room extra chocolate martini's and cosmos.
4. Seeing DIS folks everywhere we went. Strangely we saw Sarah & Stony at both "tasting" sessions we attended!
5. Spending time chatting with Kelly and Don nearly every day. They were among the folks we saw everywhere and it was really cool to get to know them better.
6. The way cool magnets and t-shirts done by Shell and Tonya, respectively. thanks to both of you for your efforts as it made the trip that much more special.
7. Talking college sports with Dave on a couple of occasions, including some time in the Cove Pool sloshing from one end to the other as the ship was rocking. And Jan wouldn't let me pay up on the drinks I owe her so I have to find another way to pay off my bets!
8. Finally meeting the infamous Shell and Bill, Bob and Lisa, Wendy & Mike, Lauri & Doug, Kathy and Greg, Cheri and Bill, Jan and Dave & Lynn, Andrew and Drew. And truly everyone else -- it was just a great group of people and made the trip even more fun than it would have been otherwise.
9. Getting to attend the debut of Tiara Bob & the Dreamboats. AND getting to see Don belt out "Amy" one of the favorite songs from my youth. I'm way too backward and shy to ever do this so I give major props to those with the cojones to do it.
I plan to post a trip report at some point. If any of you ever make it to the 'burgh I hope you'll let us know so we can show you our town.
Now on the important question. Who else rebooked while onboard? We booked for next year, same week and just hope the ride is a bit smoother!
Need some good sleep tonight. Tomorrow we Christmas-up the house!
