Good Morning ,
It's in the 40's this morning and staying like that the whole day!! Linda- I laughed when you said you were in the doghouse because I was too. DH was mad beecause of the amount of money I spend on the Christmas Pictures for DS. My mother-in-law paid for them but still insists that I went crazy on them!! Well today I am cleaning out my craft closet and boxing it all up so it is ready to move. My friend and her husband and the twins are coming over for dinner. Well I am off to clean and straighten up!!

Well, it is 36 here in Atlanta right now with a wind chill of 31. Only supposed to get up to 57 degrees this afternoon. But, it is a BEAUTIFUL day. The sun is shining and the sky is blue and not a cloud in sight. So, what am I doing....working! But, at least I am working from home.

Thanks again for all the Birthday wishes! We celebrate with family tonight and with church family tomorrow night.

Jeff, have fun in Florida!

Shell, we are waiting on you to get back to your REAL job of keeping the posts going on here. Wendy let you down by not taking up your slack!

I will stick up for you and the "accident".

I had a similar problem a few years back. I barely bumped the garage wall with my front bumper and left a small black mark. It was a brand new house, our first ,and DH had built it himself from top to bottom, so I thought I'd better tell him so he could paint it.

By evening he was telling people I dented the wall with the car. A couple days later he told everyone that I made a big hole in the wall. By a week later he had told everyone I plowed so hard into the garage wall I kocked our son off the couch in the family room!!!

He still tells people that story and my son swears to it!!
Neither one of them was home at the time. Boy, that was the last time I confess to anything to Greg.
Hope your step incident doesnt grow as the story is told like my little black mark did.

It's a coooold one here in PA this morning 33 with windchill's making it feel like 27 YUCK!

just finished meat loaf, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn and bread and butter.

Kathy: that is my favorite meal of all time!!! those things just go together like peanut butter and jelly-not good to have one without the other!!

Well, going to the bank-I make out the server's/stateroom hostess' tip envelopes prior to the cruise-and I add to the basic recommendations for their tips at the end of our stay...depending on their service. Can anyone tell me exactly what the head server's responsibilities are??? I loved our Server and assistant server last cruise but only saw the head server like one time....is he a behind the scene kinda guy (or gal)???

Okie, the Head Server is definitely a behind the scenes type person. If you don't see them, it means everything is probably going very well for you. They are responsible for training of the wait staff, assisting in delivery of meals when necessary and cleaning up after the meals. They definitely earn their tips as well!

Wendy, now whatever do you mean? Everyone knows that doctors do all the work and nurses sit around griping about not getting any credit. I have worked in several hospitals and know this to be a fact!

HI everyone!

This will need to be quick since I'm actually at work! My little laptop froze up this morning and now it's saying the hard drive isn't installed! (I'm using the computer that was assigned to the person who quit at the beginning of summer by giving us about 12 hours notice via email!!! So I won't be the one to get in trouble! I don't hold a grudge. . . )

Anyway, as Ralphie would say, "[Disney] mania knows no bounds. . ."

It is cold this morning! 28 degrees at 9:00. Bob, I did follow a guy riding his motorcycle this morning -- but he wasn't topless!

I told Bill that I hope there's a heat wave in the Caribbean when we're there! This cold weather has come on way too fast and way too soon this year.

Shell -- hope you're back safe-n-sound! As you can see from our post counts, we missed you! Of course, Wendy & I were out saving the world (not sure from what) so we didn't have time to post as often as usual!!! But everyone else stepped up so Kathy didn't have to get out that whip.

Nothing much new here - chilly outside here too - sounds like that is a theme up in the North. DH is coming back from Vegas tonight - looking forward to seeing him! Had yummy Indian food take-out with DS last night - I told you he wasn't a picky eater LOL. Can't wait for this day to be over - looking forward to the weekend, and then we are that much closer to cruising. Now I am starting to think about how fast it will be over and getting sad even before we are on the ship. LOL - obsessed I am!

I am looking forward to this 'big announcement' that whatever Celebrity on the boards will be making - should be interesting.

just dropping by to say hello. I just finished 2 door signs and half the third one. But it will take some time to figure out the rest of the 3rd one, it just isnt quite working for me yet.

Sounds like everyone is having a good Friday. We are 70, cloudy and breezy, but it really feels nice. It was a great morning to take Minnie for her walk, we did out route twice because it was so nice.

My colleague got her American Citizenship this morning, so I went to the ceremony to take photos. It was very moving and nice.

Left my robot doing the work untended, and for once he behaved himself.

The guys can tease me about the steps, I don't care. Normally I'm a good driver (trucker's daughter - no choice - you WILL learn to drive backward as well as forward) but as a life long member of the ADHD club, I DO get distracted now and then. lol.

Hey y'all --- looking forward to getting to know you all. Just wanted to post an FYI (forgive me if someone has beat me to this) -- but just a note to those procrastinators JUST LIKE ME but there are no more Palo reservations to be had.
