What’s for Dinner Tonight?

Herbed pork loin, air fried sweet potatoes, left over broccoli and the rest of the bagged salad

Marinated a pork chop (the last defrosted one) in green curry paste and ginger for a few hours and then roasted in the toaster oven. Serving it with a mango, Granny Smith apple and cuke salad with a side of vinegar dressed carrot slaw. A glass of seltzer and lime ought to be fine for a drink.

Trying a new recipe. Big Mac Casserole. Next time I'll go and buy a Big Mac, lol. So many ingredients just for the sauce. Smells good though. Just finishing up the baking now.

Tacos night here. Ground beef for DH and black been for me with Spanish rice. I don’t want yo cook but I really want tacos. I’m feeling burnt out from cooking.

Yesterday was my prep day before my first colonoscopy. So I had water for dinner. The rest of the family got takeout from the Spanish deli. I was quite jealous.
Tonight we’re ordering pizza.

We decided to stay in & rest up for the long drive tomorrow & Friday. Dinner was room service from Shula's again. DH had a burger w/ fries. After the past few days, comfort food was all I could think of that I wanted. That ended up being macaroni & cheese & buttered bread.

Salad night......Cobb tonight

A good potato salad is hard to come by (at least for me). Its a lot of work, but when done right......

the chop suey is finally gone. Two heaping plates for me and a small bowl for my wife. I can't stand to waste food and won't throw it away. There wasn't enough to save again, so I forced it down.

Tonight will be bourbon tips grilled, along with a store marinated Chinese style pork ribs (also grilled). Veggie and steamed white rice. Our son will be home from work, so no chance of leftovers with this.

Almost forgot, we remembered last night that we had a frozen apple braid dessert thing (one of the school fundraiser types). That's thawing today and will be baked tonight for dessert! It'll be even better now that the fall air has settled in our area.... nothing like a warm apple treat with a cool breeze!

Last night was smoked brisket. My son did a great job! 2nd night here in TN and we’re doing chicken veggie bowls. They have a garden that is still producing. I’ve taught him well.
