Good morning Banana Heads

I'm sitting at the Albuquerque airport, catching up on the posts while I wait for my flight to Houston. Last time I was here waiting for a flight, I got to watch the fighter jets from Kirtland AFB take off. They share the runway with the airport, and I was really looking forward to seeing them again today, but I must have gotten here too late. Will be home in time for dinner tonight and to see MY BABY and my dog!

With all the love spewing from this board, I'm sure that Dream Boat Wally will be coming out any minute now . (Cheri, your post cracked me up! )

Bob, as soon as I turned on my computer this morning, I had a "DING" and the message "BOB'S B-DAY TOMORROW". Then you go and tell us that it's a 2-day long event? Well, I'm siding with your father and your BC! Wait, does this mean you get DOUBLE presents and cake???

This weekend, I get a bunch of stuff checked off the To Do List ... we're getting SO close!!!!

Bob, as soon as I turned on my computer this morning, I had a "DING" and the message "BOB'S B-DAY TOMORROW". Then you go and tell us that it's a 2-day long event? Well, I'm siding with your father and your BC! Wait, does this mean you get DOUBLE presents and cake???

Unfortunately, no I won't get two cakes, or maybe I will. We are having dinner with family tomorrow night, and then on Saturday, the single's Sunday School group we teach is taking me out to eat Japanese! So, I may get another cake on that day!

Heck, I may go out and buy my own cake today! But, my request for tomorrow night is that my wonderful wifey make me a Red Velvet cake. This is a special thing between us for birthdays and Valentine's, so I always look forward to it!

Denise - great news about your sister.

Kathy - Love this weather girl! I put in a request for our northern friends and it seems to be sticking...only hope I put the correct date on that request. I do get my months mixed up.

It's getting closer and closer to departure date. I hear the music of jaws in my ears as I'm trying to get everything together. I'm starting to hit that old panic button. I still have to find a dress for me. I lost weight and the dress I was going to wear is a bit too big. And I haven't gotten our door sign made yet. Maybe this job before vacation idea wasn't a good idea after all.

Well, going to go now. Have to get ready for work. You really feel old when you are in charge of 4 and 5 year olds! They want you to get on the floor and play. Getting down is great, back up...

Happy Birthday, Bob! I see that I missed greeting your day earlier

Definitely get as much ready made as possible for that buffet - Sam's club, and I suppose Costco or BJs have terrific appetizers you only need to heat and eat, with a deli veggie plate and fruitbowl you're good to go with no work - and very little clean up either - MY KIND of meal!

It is going to be a chilly weekend here in Atlanta, GA! They are predicting a low of 33 tonight, 30 Friday night and 31 Saturday night. Gonna have to put the top up on the convertible. No topless cruising this weekend!

Denise - Glad your sister is doing well and that she'll be cruising with us.

Kathy: No booking yet for 08. We will probably use DVC points for one or both of us and there's an 11 month window before we can book.

Linda: Thanks so much for the suggestion for Thanksgiving lunch. DUH -- why didn't I think of that. With just 4 adults and a 2 year old eating, we really don't need that much. I don't want to be chopping, grinding, baking, cooking, etc. to the point that I'm too tired to board that plane the next morning!

Not much excitment here today. I did some much needed house work and put some things aside for the cruise. It's cold and snowy-YUCK

Well today was another day of running around!! But DS's Christmas Pictures came out soooooooo good that I bought all of them !! He was smiling and just taking great pictures !! We also visited my Mom at work and went to my in-law's for lunch and then headed home. Well I am very tired !! Well going to make turkey burgers for dinner. Let me go prepare because DH is on his way home!!

I am going to get my 2007 calenders done tonight so I will not have a chance to go back on the computer. I am making 2007 calenders with DS in them for my Mom and sisters. just finished meat loaf, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn and bread and butter.
only going to be in the 70's tomarrow, so it should be a great day!!

My friend's fiance dropped dead at his work the other day. Late 40s. Sure a wake up call to live now, because one never knows the number of ones days left on earth.
