Has anyone taken the Wild Africa Trek? Was it worth the price? Time? What were the highlights and not so highlights? Thanks

I'm doing the Trek for the first time on my trip and I've heard nothing but great things about it! People did say that the earlier the tour, the more active the animals, which makes sense, so I booked the earliest one.

I'd be interested to read some more reviews here!

I've said it before, but it's the best thing I've ever done at Disney. Very unique experience, great guides and so much fun. And you get a CD with tons of pictures from the trip.

We have done it 3 times. More than worth it, even at the full price. The kids and I loved it.

It's worth every penny and is probably the best three hours I've ever spent at WDW. Obviously you get to see a lot of animals and learn more about them, but I don't think I'll ever forget crossing the swinging rope bridges and having lunch in the gorgeous savannah. The food, by the way, was delicious! The CD full of photos of the animals and the tour participants is a great memento. I highly recommend the tour and can't think of any negatives about it. For what it's worth, I paid a discounted price, but I recommend the tour even at the full price.

I absolutely loved this! You get so much more time to view the animals, and get much closer.
I got some amazing pictures!!! And the lunch break is a nice little touch also.
I would love to do this again.

Anything new is worth trying once In my opinion, that is for tours, restaurants, extra events, etc.

How do you find out what the pricing is thru out the year? It says it varies based on the season, but I can't find a chart of dates/pricing???
