Wii Callus

Thanks Annette. We are looking for a Wii Fit. I registered for the alerts and hopefully this will help.
That's how I got mine before Christmas. Wiialerts was very, very helpful.

How are the graffics for this game on the wii

The graphics are probably the same as on the gamecube, though they were impressive for that system. This was probably the best game ever made for the gamecube. The Wii and gamecube are essentially the same internally, only the OS and peripherals are different.

John really needs to play Bioshock for the Xbox360. If you like RE, you will love Bioshock. Its also available for PS3 and PC.

Just had to say dont do the ski jumping for 3 hours straight. I cant sit down.:lmao:

I know, it really sucks. I looked for FOREVER to buy one, ever since they came out and then I was lucky enough to get one through my boyfriend's work. He does electronic restoration work for insurance companies for homes that have had fires or floods....My Wii was in a fire but wasn't damaged, just a little yellowed from the smoke. But since it was cosmetically damaged, the insurance compnay told DBF's company to consider it a loss and that they could throw it away and they'd ship the family a new one....thus Cathie got a Wii!!!!! :)

I truly LOVE his job lol.

Wow, you are one lucky person! I plan on stalking Best Buy tomorrow morning before they open because I was told by a very nice employee that they are getting some in tomorrow.

We played it on Christmas at my bro and sis in-law's house and I have been feigning for it ever since...haha :rotfl:

Wii in the Prizematron, please?

I second that!!!

Sign up at www.wiialerts.com and they'll tell you when online retailers have them in stock. You can have them email you or send you a text message. A text message from them is how I got my sister a Wii for Christmas. It's free and they won't spam you or anything. After I got my sister's Wii, I un-registered from all the alerts and haven't heard from them since. :thumbsup2

Thanks Annette, I am heading over to that site right now :thumbsup2

That's really awesome, I wish I had know about that before, hahah!!!

I hope you all find your Wii's so you can join in on the obsessive fun with us! :)

I think I strained an oblique muscle from Golfing too much on the Wii. I never thought I would get injured playing video games. People warned me but I didn't believe them.

I had to give my "Wii arm" a rest from bowling and tennis. I've been playing The Price is Right today....fun without the chance of injury;)

There are no wii's anywhere for us to buy. We have been calling stores since Friday here in Long Island and we went to Pennsylvania to visit my aunt on Saturday and she called stores for us there too and no one has it. I was told by a best buy employee "there are no stores in Long Island that have wii".

I WANT TO BUY A WII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try gamestop.com if you can. They have a store locator at the top of the page, or you can order online. Let's just say I walked into a GameStop store in Chicago on Black Friday at noon and picked up a Wii console and a Wii Fit.

I like the Wii Fit, but I want the Iron Chef America game.

Thanks for the advice! I have actually been calling all of the local gamestops and no one seems to have it. I made a list (24 of them) and we plan on going to each and every one over the next few days. I have become a woman on a mission. It's not even about playing wii now, its about owning it!

I don't know whether I want to thank Pete or shoot him for mentioning Animal Crossing! I signed up for Gamefly's free trial so I could try games before buying them, and Animal Crossing was the first one I put in my queue. Now I am hopelessly addicted. I used my Christmas money to order the game so I can keep it, plus the cheat guide.

When I notice that I haven't blinked in ages due to zoning out while playing Animal Crossing, I take breaks to play Price is Right or Cooking Mama. It's pretty bad when I can't make popcorn, isn't it?

Just think, you could come out with your own AstroGlide for Wii players. ;)

BodyGlide is for WDW blisters. AstroGlide is for something TOTALLY different!!!:rotfl: I'd hate to see the Wii game that requires the use of AstroGlide...

We just got a Wii for Christmas, and have spent hours on it. We even downloaded the internet browser, so we can read the boards on the big screen. :happytv:

It takes me two minutes to type my four character name on a Wii with the remote... I can just see trying to post a message. So tell how do we get the internet on the Wii?

Ha! That's really funny John. I love my Wii, but I love my PS3 as well. I had great fun waiting for my Wii on the first day, not knowing if it would be succesful or not, great fun!

That is quite possibly the funniest thing I have ever read on here :lmao: :lmao:

You can connect via ethernet cable or WiFi. Go into the Wii settings and set up your connection. Once your Wii is connected, you can go to the Wii store and download the internet browser. It cost 5000 Wii points ($5.00). I just set the DIS and a couple of other sites as my favorites for quick access to read. Haven't posted, that would take all day. However, if I understand correctly, you can use a wireless keyboard with it.
