Ok I just looked in the mirror and I had a vision of loosing this weight but looking more saggy! There I admitted it. Im 45.5 and not getting any younger. When I lost this wgt before I was in my early 30s. Has any other mid 40s noticed a saggy look after loosing weight?
(I dont mean in the legs & arms which can be worked but in the neck)

UH oh! I'm going to have to check the mirror more closely!

Actually, the only thing I've really noticed so far is in my face. I have that "crepey" (yes, CREPEY, not creepy!) look around my eyes. Grrr.... I guess I'm going to have to start buying some of those anti-wrinkle creams or something.

Weird ? - My favorite kind - so I'll answer.

We get older skin loses its elasticity(collogen) and decreased fat cells - believe it or not - and our skin begins to show little lines and droops. But the good news is everthing else is going on us too - How is this good news you ask? - As we begin to "age" our eyesight begins to diminish - and then we can't focus as well on fine details so we don't see these lines and sags - Isn't nature wonderful!:p

Seriuosly - if you say A E I O U while looking up and over exagerate(sp?) each vowel as you say it this is supposed to help tighten the under the chin and neck sag.

I don't know the answer to your question, IGTD, but if I can lose enough weight to get saggy, I'm just going to roll all that loose skin up, stuff it in and keep on going!!!!;)

I don't know..... maybe we need to start a cosemetic surgery board for WISHER"S who need it!! :p I know I will most definetly need it by the time I get all this weight off! The least I'll need is a tummy tuck!

I've actually been thinking the same thing myself. I'm so worried that I'll have loose skin when I lose all of the weight! Especially in the tummy. Lots of extra weight and 2 c-sections have really done a number on me!!!:(

OK guys I am NOT going to make you feel better :( I am going to turn 4 in 8 months. I have lost 75 pounds and I have this huge wrinkly ugly mass of skin around my middle. It disgusts me to no end and looks horrendous..it is not going to go anywhere according to my Dr. unless I have it removed :( I guess a twin pregnancy, a regular pregnany and 75 pounds on top of that, can damage your skin for good. Thank goodness no one sees it because it is UGGGGLY!!!!

You're turning 4, glo??? Well at least your height is now appropriate with your age!! ;):p:p

I am sorry, I just couldn't resist!! You know I am just teasin' and I love ya!! ;):p

Yup...now I am 4 years old....Beanie can I get some icecream...I want a juice...I don't wanna nap!!!!

Um, glo, you need to go see Pumba for the babysitting services!!;):p I have enough kids to deal with during the day!!;):)

Hugs!

that you should have no problem getting the loose skin removed, after all, having twinns, another baby and losing 47 pounds aall by the age of 3 should have you in the Guiness book, you should sell your story to the tabloids for untold millions!!!!

You could save up for a tummy tuck, but wouldn't that interfere with saving for all those little trips to WDW, and road trips with the girls, etc?

Life is full of tough decisions!
