Widget: Does It Work

I downloaded about a month ago the DVC widget that is supposed to have the latest news. But all it ever has is a "Tell your friends" headline, and nothing else. Has DVC abandoned this? Does anybody else's work? DisneyLink doesn't seem to be very active, either.

Several months ago I downloaded that widget and finally deleted it after no updates 4 months later. I just go into the website and check the news. Beside s people hear usually post information just as fast as it's on the MS website.

I would have thought that with announcement about the $15 per point rule, certainly that would have been a news item. But nothing. I also have to note that the countdown timer widget doesn't work too great; mine always has the month as "unspecified"!

I almost deleted my dvc widgets the other day. My ticker in my signature is fine and my kids never play the little game anymore...they never update the what's new thing!

LOL I must have signed up for that about 6 months ago, and it was "coming soon" back then, too. I guess Disney has all their tech guys working on the pay to play site.

OK. Link actually had a message today--that it will be replaced shortly by the Disney Vacation Connection. Sounds good.
