finaly i got it i so far like it so much better than the musical



any one else read or reading it? dont spoil to much im only on page 50 i read it all morning and last night.

Ooohhh, it's really good!!

The beginning is a bit...icky...with Melina...but it gets MUCH better by the end!! Seriously, you're gonna love it.

Then, you can read Son of a Witch. (IMO, I liked that one better than WICKED, but to each his/her own!)

I don't know why, I just never liked it as much as the musical, but it might be because I got into the musical first. I just couldn't really like the book no matter how hard I tried, but that's my own opinion. I think I'm going to try to read it again, because I saw the musical recently.

the final paragraph of this book is some of the best writing i have ever read. i deeply enjoyed wicked. not so much the musical though.

Some parts are very um..... ADULT. But otherwise its a very powerful book that really makes you think twice and maybe even have a deep hatred for Dorothy.
(p.s.- the play is loosely based on the book so there are surprises and I love both)

I have this book on my shelf somewhere read the first few chapters then put it down, been meaning to pick it up again.

Saw the musical in the west end about 18 months ago now, really good and cute, the song For Good always makes me cry.
