Monday July 5th
Man, are we wiped after the 4th!!! Sometimes I forget we're not 20 year olds. I refuse to act my age.
We have a PS for 8:30 at Fresh at the Dolphin. What was I thinkin'????? 8:30!!!!!!! I wanna blow it off,but Karen convinces me to go. Besides,we're both wicked starvin'. That pretzel dinner
we had the night before didn't cut it. So,we pretty much roll outa bed and head downstairs for breakfast. I'm totally shocked Karen agrees to this! What!!?! No makeup!!!!! LOLOL
I read a lot of good reviews on this buffet. So I was expecting something a little different. It was good,but nothing special. Actually,I was a little disappointed with the fruit selection,especially since we're sittin' here in Florida! So,if you go,
don't expect anything extrordinary.
After breakfast,we go to the pool. Normally,not my favorite thing to do,but I was tired,so I didn't gripe about it. Besides,Karen loves to sit by a pool. We find the perfect spot too.
If you've ever stayed at the Dolphin,you'll know where I'm talkin' about. Right behind the waterfall! It was a great place for me---absolutely NO sun! I felt like I was in a cave. Loved it. Karen sat close by in the sun,so we were both happy.
I slept here for almost 3 hours! I woke up totally recharged and ready for one of those "poolside drinks". I'm a beeh drinka,but once in awhile a fruity-slushy-rum drink is kinda good!
I'm not lookin' to get wasted,but for $7.50 a wack I think I should be able to taste a little of that Bacardi Rum I (think)he put in my drink! This isn't the first time I'm feelin' ripped off in the drink department, so I'm startin' to think its a Disney thing. At least I know when I order a Bud,I get a Bud!!! But,I'm on vacation so
I don't sweat it.
We hang at the pool until about 5pm. At this point,we still haven't decided if we wanted to do E-night at MK. We both don't know if we feel like staying there until 2am. Besides,Karen likes the parks better in the day. She feels like you get to see more . I like the parks at night cuz its cooler.
We decide to get ready and go to MK,but not for Enight.
We grab a hotdog and fries at Pecos Bill's and know for the rest of the night we'll be constantly lookin' for water! We never eat hotdogs for this reason. I sweah,some lessons are nevah learned....
We rode BTM and I screamed like an ol'lady! Karen loves when I'm scared on rides,she thinks its a riot. She'll get hers.....
We then saw that Peter Pan had only a 20 minute wait so we rode that. Cute,but glad we didn't wait a long time.
Mickey's Philharmagic was wicked pissa!!!! We both love the 3D movies and this is a good one!!
We wanted to ride Splash Mountain but the wait was really long and no more FP's so off to Buzzlightyear! This is another ride we never miss! Its just fun!
Space mountain had an 80 minute wait with no FP's left. I wanted to ride it,but not with that wait. We decided to go back to the hotel and walk over to Boardwalk. That's what I like about staying at the Dolphin,its so conveniently close to other parks.
We decide to come back to MK tomorrow morning for Splash and Space mountains.
