I just looked at my Disneyland app and noticed that wifi is now available in both parks!!

Can anyone in the park give a heads up on how easy it was to sign in and how strong the connection is?

I was there on Thursday. I got full bars in Tomorrowland but dropped to one to completely gone past Haunted Mansion. It didn't even cross my mind to check at DCA!

But now they're introducing the ability to book FP electronically in the near future.

It was in testing phase when we went May 7-12th. Spotty to say the least, most of the time it was not available (on both parks). Wanted this so much, love it at WDW and works great for me there, but was disappointed. I am sure it will get better since they are depending on it for the new FP feature, but for right now it is not reliable at all.

That's not encouraging since there were rumors MaxPass might be rolling out soon.

We use our phones to check wait times and FP return times as well as for Photopass+ purposes! So instead of using our data, wifi would be welcome....especially since we are from Canada.

Im really looking forward to this, as an International visitor, I rely on free WiFi as data roaming charges are astronomical. I turn off my data for the entire time I am in USA, so having this in the park means I can stay in contact with friends and family back in Europe.

My experience on Memorial Day is that it's not all over, just in select areas. It seemed to work well when I had it. My phone still needed a charge by 5pm. I hope that's not the extent to which they'll have wifi, just that it's the beginning of it. To sign in all you had to do was choose it and agree to terms and conditions.
