Nope, we never mature. We just age.I agree with your sis, but once you get older you think that would even up
He shares my love of Disney and we have been having great fun for 26 years now with no end in sight. I have to admit he had to convince me to marry someone so much younger, but I'm glad he wouldn't take no for an answer!
I'm 2 1/2 months older than DH......married for 37 years in June
DDIL is a 1 1/2 years older than DS.

I am 8 years older than DH. It was a second marriage for both of us. I was 35 he was 27. He was very mature due to what he had to deal with with ex. But I'm a firm believer that maturity is way over-rated.He shares my love of Disney and we have been having great fun for 26 years now with no end in sight. I have to admit he had to convince me to marry someone so much younger, but I'm glad he wouldn't take no for an answer!

I look at men my age and most of them look way too old for me!
I've married younger and older. First husband was 2 years older. Second was 6 years younger. Third was 4 years younger. My soon to be fourth is 6 years older. Makes no difference they still all act like 16 year old boys![]()

Women have to date older men cause the ones of their own age are too immature.
Least, that's what my sister used to tell me.
Many reasons, but one I haven't seen here yet...
Procreation. Women have a limited amount of time they are fertile, in most cases the younger you are, the easier it is to get pregnant. And of course, the younger you are when you have your first, the more time you have to have multiple children, if you choose.
The man being older is financially advantageous, because presumably he is already established in his career, making good money, has saved up some money, etc. For many women, if they wait until after they have established their career, are at a high earning point, saved up money, etc. they are already at the time where it starts getting more difficult to get pregnant.
