Why should I buy DVC?

Just so the OP knows all the facts, there are only 5 lockoffs 2 BR, no dedicated 2 BR.

Really? Wow, that's worse than I thought! :scared1: Makes me even happier that I did that AKV add-on so I can try at 11 mo. sometime- I want to do a AKV studio club level long weekend and do the Sunrise and Sunset Safaris. Right now I'm hoping for early May, 2012; vacation time off from work is a little tight for us right now and there are lots of other trips (many Disney) in the works as well. :upsidedow

So the hardest rooms to come by at AKV are concierge and the two bedrooms? Which rooms are hardest to come by at other DVC resorts? I know SS built the new Treehouse Villas, and they don't have many so they are probably hard to come by.

THanks in advance to those who know!!

:) Yes, and then if you want VWL at Christmas you probably need to own. If you are trying to get to F&W in the fall, BWV and BCV are becoming (from what I have read)harder to get, too. You have to own almost at SSR to get a THV. Which resort does your son like best? As a growing teenager he may like the BWV or BCV area best.

Two bedrooms shouldn't be hard @ AKV, especially not in Kidani. Value rooms in Jambo might be harder.

Generally, it's all how rare a room is. The views that cost the fewest points tend to go first, as do "rare" rooms (Grand Villas, Concierge...) and depending on the season different resorts may be harder than usual.

Have you looked at the availability threads?
