Why not use covid sniffing dogs?

I've heard that people with service dogs and a verandah have them placed out there. They only put the one out on deck 4 if the service animal is in an inside or oceanview room.

That explains why I've only seen the green rug area on deck 4 only a couple of times. When I first saw it I thought 'cool. they can walk the dog on deck 4 then take it for potty' then on other cruises I didn't see it.

So if the person with a service dog has a verandah and the litter rug is put there, they don't get to take it for a little exercise ? poor dog.

I don't think they enough dogs that reliably trained to do this yet. It's obviously fairly new.

Service dogs usually stay with their person... so they very much get exercise unless the owner stays in the room the whole time. :thumbsup2
