Why is the Dreams Contest NOT mentioned on VMK's Homepage?

JustMonkeyMe has had many people ask her where she got her Dreams shirt, but according to VMK, you are not supposed to direct people to other websites or you may get banned. Even though I have seen others talk about "he.bay," I discourage her from telling her where to go to enter the contest. It would be so easy for VMK to mention it in their newsletter so others can know about the contest.

What are we supposed to do for those who don't know???

I agree! It's very frustrating to our younger players. They advertise the prizes in the host rooms, yet many people are unaware of how to get them. To explain to people how to get them, you really have to go against the vmk values. Not the best thought out contest for VMK, but the prizes are nice.

I saw host Lily in one of the roomsyesterday saying the prizes were from "he bay" so if she said that it should be safe to say. Unless she was banned for saying it and that's why her game isn't opening today.

I ran into Lily the other night in one of the preview rooms and she was telling people where to go. So, I also tell people where to go.

Lily also said that there would soon be a link on the homepage to the contest, but as of yet, that hasn't happened (I just checked).

Yesterday I opened up a room called: 'Dreams Sweepstakes Guide'

With the permission from a Staff member I was told I was allowed to have this room opened as a guide until it gets posted on the VMK Homepage in the next newsletter. Therefore since the newsletter gets updated on Monday (tomorrow) This is the last day I will be having my guide room open.

Come into the room and I have step-by-step procedures on how to enter. Also there are many other questions that people can answer

Yea, they should have advertised it better. I don't know how many more times people are going to ask me where i got my shirt.. my answer is now "i got it in trade".. it's just easier that way

I am using it is from the holiday dreams seepstakes a hebay promotion with disney and then running as fast as I can LOL I try not to go into that much beynd if thlook for that sweepstakes they will find it. I just don't think they can put a link up because e-bay is suposedly an over 18 site.

I just asked Phinny in the gravity game and she said to tell people I got my shirt from the Disney Dreams Holiday Sweepstakes at he bay. She also said we can tell them to watch the vmk home page for news.

I can't believe staff is basically telling us to dictionary-dance in order to explain where the codes came from.

I wonder how many young players are being tempted to lie and/or use their parent's credit card to create eBay accounts for this contest.

What were you thinking, VMK? Is this how you finally settled your gripes with eBay?

So staff thinks it's ok to "dictionary dance" for some websites? They need to put Ebay in the dictionary for this week. It really sends out mixed messages to tell kids to go around saying "he bay".

Go to eBay web site and look under annnoucements.
