Why is Poly so great?

Everyone says Poly is the best. Why? Which longhouses are the best and Why?

2003-Offsite (First time experiancing the magic!!!!)

2004-Pop Century (Nice Place)

2005-Contemporary Resort (Was GREAT!!!)

2006-????

Anybody have suggestions where I should stay in 2006?

Can't tell you which longhouses are best (it's been a while since I've stayed there, and I don't remember which ones we stayed in). We stayed in one or two close to the "elliptical pool" (not the main pool with the rock slide), which was nice- I can't remember the names though. Here's why I like the Polynesian:

-atmosphere is great- I especially loved coming back at night with the music playing and the torches lit
-on the monorail route
-close to the Transportation and Ticket Center- within walking distance to get to Epcot via the monorail
-the pool and the lagoon...when we were younger, my sisters and I would always play on the beach

Poly for sure. I love it there. I stayed there 2 or 3 times now, and I absolutely love it. It's just so tropical and beautiful, it's just like a taste of paradise. The staff is very friendly and I just love the environment! It just depends on what you like .

You can play on the beach at the GF as well, along with a great atmosphere, very clean. In distance of walking the lagoon side romantic trail to the MK. Has a monorail, with the first stop at the MK. They have 2 lovely pools with a slide and waterfall. The guest service is outstanding along with the views in and out of the rooms. The beds are very comfy as well, not all box spring like.

well, let's just say -
YOU DO want a longhouse closest to the MONORAIL or the BEACH or the POOL or near the WALKWAY TO THE TTC.
i was in raratonga.. it was awesome.

why to love it?

- atmosphere ; waterfalls, the foliage, the pools, just the way everything is done, the statues of the dolphins, just everything.

- location, location, location. on the monorail route, & a 5 minute walk away from the TTC.
