with all those codes it can make me go crazy am i the only one:badpc: ?

btw, the cheapest codes for a week and a day for a smaller suv is $243.00

Yes, this is a good rate. I recommend booking it - you can always cancel or change if rates decrease.

No you are not crazy.

You can go to Travelocity and get today's low prices (not specials) for a bunch of car rental agencies all in one fell swoop. Unfortunately, after reading numerous complaint letters about on line travel agencies including the one I named, I recommend doing the actual booking from the rental company's own web site.

Before Magical Express, we always checked into rental car rates for one-ways or entire trip to see if it would be less than Town Car or Mears and it WAS confusing.

Approximately 10 different companies, umpteen codes, or combinations of codes and coupons, and then rechecking "each" combination every week to see if your price went down!! Yikes!!

Hotel, easy, Value at the best rate, or Moderate if REALLY good discount.

Airfare, easy, only one choice for me. I watch the flights I want, and get the best price, if it keeps dropping, I get credits.

i did book the car rental. I would be willing to try magical express but my dh doesn't want to be without a car. we usually go to the supermarket and pick-up some snacks and stuff. i will try to convince him hopefully this will save us $240.oo

I am on the opposite end of you. I like booking the car rental because there usually are no fees to cancel and rebook. I check National daily and book if the price goes down, then I cancel the old one. My last trip to MCO I did this at least a dozen times. At least you don't have to play the game on whether to book now or later, like you do with airline tickets....
