I'm voting Democrat because: I believe that business should NOT be allowed to make profits. They need to break even and give the rest away to the employees.
I'm voting Democrat because: I don't want Doctors who were at the top of their classes to make decisions regarding my healthcare, I want a government employee who makes $30k a year make that decision for the doctor.
I'm voting Democrat because: I believe that people who can't tell us if it will rain on Friday CAN in fact tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years if I don't start driving a Prius.
I'm voting Democrat because: I believe that the military is a bunch of badly behaved men and women who are hell bent on killing and just want to blow things up.
I'm voting Democrat because: I believe that universal healthcare coverage is not Socialized Medicine.

That's a great post too. There are a whole bunch of different reasons here however. There are just so many reasons.

I am not voting republican because the republican party of today is IMO a theocratic abomination, putting what they believe to be moral righteousness and what I view as corporate cronyism before the common good of America.

I am voting democrat because the past 7 years of Republican leadership have been horrible for far too many people I know.

I'm voting democrat for the simple reason that the last 8 years have been horrendous. No way am I going to trust that some one who has that same mentality to all of a sudden bring some new ideas to the table.

Absolutely, Dawn! All it took was to start doing the job we set out to do in Iraq the right way and we had positive results. Results that would not have been realized if we pulled out and conceded defeat.
