Why don't we make this trip report about 2012 & 2013.

I think enjoying watching a sleeping baby is a priority. Just put that on your list too so you don't forget it is just as important as the other things.

I bet Sami will be so cute in her pettis. Glad you had fun shopping and I have a feeling it will be easier to get on a schedule after your trip and after J & C are back in school.

Aw thanks Nini. I just feel like this last pregnancy is taking me so long to recover and G and my Mom keep reminding me how hard this pregnancy has been on me and how rough my C-section was and that I am older this time. (I am not listening to that part:rotfl:) my OB keeps telling me I am 37 so I think I am going to adopt that age.

SO here is a little trip update I ordered more pettiskirts for Sami and the onsies I need to make her outfits. I also ordered some different shirts to try for J.

I totally agree with Nini! And your Mom and hubby. I know how it is to have so much to do and feel you're not making progress. Lists are what I live by and I'm glad that seems to help you as well.

As far as just watching little Sammy, that is never wasted time. That's good bonding time for both of you. It reminds me of when I was in Virginia in April to help my daughter pack to move to Colorado. She and my DGD went to the store and I stayed behind to put the baby for her nap. She was restless and wouldn't sleep, so I held her and she fell asleep on me. I sat there looking around at all I COULD be doing to help with the move until suddenly I realized what I was doing. It was as though God was speaking to me: "There is nothing more important than what you are doing: watching over one of My greatest gifts. Relax. Feel her little heart beating next to yours, the kiss of her breath on your skin. Touch that precious soft skin and drink in that precious baby smell There will never be another moment just like this one, so enjoy every lovely minute. The work will be there later, so for now, find joy in this simple, yet profound pleasure."

Needless to say, I was content to stay put and somehow the work all got done. You are so amazing to get as much done as you do. I hope you have a wonderful day of "moments" with Sammy and getting another item checked off your list.

Thank you for all the comments about enjoying the baby. I have a hard time slowing down.

Yesterday I went for a wound check and y OB is very pleased with the healing. I am on once a week appointments. Down side of this wound is I can't go swimming really hoping I will be able to swim for our trip.

Today we are taking Sam to a new pediatrician, my ped that we have been seeing since C was born all of a sudden has a problem with my insurance which was changed and he was still lid for seeing J in April. This is the same plan we had but requires us to get referrals for everything, which we were doing anyway. we went from a POS plan to a HMO. This is a bigger office but they deal with a lot more autism also they have a doctor that specializes in adolescent medicine on staff which I like. I hope this appointment goes well.

Yesterday I started Sam's trip clothes. I finished one onsie and started a dress.

Today I will finish cutting out the dress, I am also testing some designs for a friend.

Have a fabulous day.

I will be thinking of you today and I hope everything goes well at the new Ped.

I am super excited to see what you are all making for little Sam... Will there be any coordinating sister sets??? I always loved coordinating my girls - or matching them. :rolleyes1

I hope you have a wonderful day too!

yes the dress I started for Sam will have a coordinating Sister Dress. The other things I am making for C are inspired shirts. She wants to wear regular shorts this trip and not all dresses but wants me to make shirts.

So I am also making her a matching shirt to one of Sam's Sets.

I hope the new office works out. It is nice to have different doctors to choose from. Three kids with three personalities and different needs may benefit from having multiple dooctors.

Yeah for coordinating outfits (or shirts at least). I need to talk to Casey about what she wants for October. I know she likes the twirling skirts for Disney but I think she might just want shorts on this trip :(

Don't forget to add: Take care of myself! to your to-do list.
I need to order a rental stroller and order from Garden Grocer, too.

Amanda

Hi Chiara! I just read the last ten pages of your PTR.

Your daughter is absolutely precious! She is such a beautiful baby. :goodvibes

Your outfits are incredible! You have such a talent. I can't believe all of the things you have accomplished since your C-section. :worship: And here I was proud of myself for keeping up with the laundry

I will be following along from now on. :)

So we are at 48 days and I have some things to start doing for this trip but I am cherishing the newborn stage. Meaning I sit and stare at the baby sleeping :rotfl2:

So in order to make myself more accountable I need to make a list.

1. Reserve double stroller
2. Order Groceries from Garden Grocer Started
3. Schedule Owners Locker pick up and delivery. DONE
4. order pillowcase fabric Found some here
5. Cut Js Duffy set
6. Cut Sam's Duffy Set
7. Cut Cs duffy top
8. email about hair accessories.

I have ordered onsies for embroidery and have started choosing designs. I also check every day to see if I can get us in a Boardwalk hotel.

For this trip and October I decided I am primarily doing onsies with petti's for Sam.

Thank you I really am please with how the appointment went and it turns out the ped we saw knows our neurologist.

Thanks for the reminder. I am trying to remember not to over do it.

Thank you so much. I am not much for sitting around this is also my 3rd kiddo. With my first I was much more laid back. Oh and I don't do the laundry never have. DH complained when we were first married about how I did the laundry so it promptly became his job.

So yesterday we went to the new ped and it was a very good appointment, today I am sending off the final payment to the old Ped and requesting J and Cs records be sent over to the new office.

Sami gained 2lbs since her last appointment so she is now 12lbs 8oz. The new ped also agreed with my feeding strategy so I am very happy.

I worked on some things for Sami. Just need to sew a onsie back together and cut out the dress. I have a lot of appliqués to work on this week. I still haven't figured a real routine out yet.

I have a bunch of pictures on my camera card that I need to upload. Maybe later today.

How about a picture from March this is C with Minnie at Pete's Silly Slide show. I love this character experience.

It's always so hard to change doctors. I imagine for J it would be doubly hard? But sounds like this one might be a good fit. I certainly hope so.

You mentioned earlier that you ordered onesies. May I ask where you order them from? I sometimes have trouble finding onesies that don't have a print or something on them. Would love to have a source for some just plain ones.

I certainly hope you get to swim while at Disney!

I missed your earlier post. Glad the new ped will be working out for you. Yay for the 2lb weight gain. You must be doing things right!

That cracked me up about the laundry! Bet he didn't complain about anything else!:rotfl:

Love the picture of C and Minnie!! So cute!

So glad the Ped went well yesterday!

Today I am not working. Going to stay home and sew a bit while Sami naps. I have a couple things to get done this weekend.

I am so excited I was able to do our check in for August Makes me happy.

Such adorable pictures. I'm still dying to buy one of your beautiful outfits before Jessica gets too old to wear it (although we're probably pretty close already).
Stay cool! The heat wave is supposed to break this weekend. I hope!

Amanda

Oh my goodness, what an adorable little lady you have! Thanks so much for sharing! The outfits are beautiful as well. I want to make more for my DGD who is 9 months old, but things keep getting in the way. You have just officially inspired me!

Could you tell me where you order your onesies from? I'd love to find just plain ones. Thanks!

Have fun sewing today and have a great weekend!
