Why don't we make this trip report about 2012 & 2013.

So I haven't been around much lately so I apologize. I do have a big update and pictures planned but it will have to wait until next week.

Here are a few things going on with us though.

We planned another trip for this year, we are going August 29th-September 4th. I broke down and booked it when I was able to get airfare for 4 of us for $850.00 so the baby's first trip will now be at the ripe old Age of 8 weeks We also decided after the stress of the last few months we couldn't wait until October.

My MIL passed away on Wednesday night and we are thankful for all the prayers and that she is at peace and no longer suffering now. We have planned the funeral and it is set for Monday. There was a little bit of hassle with the cemetery and opening and closing the grave. so we had to push it from Saturday until Monday.

My baby shower is today and I am excited, I am blessed that a lot of Out of Town relatives chose to come celebrate with us and am feeling very blessed that they love us enough to travel.

On the baby front I am starting my 33rd week today so I now have less than 7 weeks to go the only thing bad is my blood pressure is all over the place. I am supposed to be monitoring it 3 times a day and usually in the morning it is within normal range but his morning it was extremely high so I am drinking water to see if that helps it.

Oh and G and I finally cleaned out most of Cs old room since the crib will be here on Wednesday. Now to schedule the contractor to come paint once I finalize the color.

First of all - I am so sorry about the passing of your MIL - I know this has been a huge burden on you and G these last few months, and I pray for peace in your hearts during this time. Much love goes out to you and your entire family.

I hope you'll share some baby shower photos with us... I am glad that you have this fun distraction today.

Also, I am excited to see your baby room... I bet it will be just as adorable as Miss C's.

We actually have paint that C had picked out for this room but I think it may be too loud. I am debating putting a sample on the wall. I think I want something lighter.

The goal is to pick the paint out this week.

I am sorry to hear about your MIL. I can only imagine how sad this time is for your family. I have been thinking of you and hope that you have not been doing too much.

I hope you had a nice baby shower yesterday and got to enjoy all the attention and excitement. This baby will be such a joy and a wonderful addition to your family.

Keep an eye on your blood pressure and be sure to try and get some "me" time in these next few days. Tomorrow will be a tough day and I know you will be caring for everyone so be sure to take care of yourself also.

The baby shower was so nice and this baby is so spoiled. I am so grateful to the people who came to share our special day.

I have to say this baby has almost every Disney outfit made by the Disney Store, K-mart and Walmart though. I have to check out the pictures C took and take some more when I get the stuff home.

I am leaving the stuff at my moms until I paint the room.

I did receive a couple of gift cards and cash that I am going to use to buy the practical things that weren't bought like bottles, bowls, spoons burp clothes and such.

We should be pretty good for clothes for a bit too.

Today is going to be a long stressful day. It is my MILs viewing I know I am going from 2-5 but may come home after that but I hate leaving G alone with his family so I am going to talk to my sister about watching my kids at my house and putting J to bed for me for the 7-9 viewing.

I have been having a problem sleeping so my entire family including J are still sleeping and I am playing on the computer.

So sorry to hear about your MIL. I know yesterday and today must have been so difficult for you as well as your DH! Prayers for you all. Be sure to get your feet up when you get a chance and it's a good idea you had to drink more water.

Thank you everyone, I felt your prayers and it is a wonderful feeling knowing people are thinking and praying for you. I did have a couple scares with blood pressure during Sunday and Monday but it is in the more normal range now.

The mass on Monday was beautiful, we have a friend who is a priest and he was able to say it and it meant the world to have him do the eulogy.

To save on the family drama I took over doing the thank yous which are all done but one that I need an address for. If I had left it to the others they would not have sent to everyone. Like the ex who sent flowers. Also since G and I had so many of our family and friends there it was just easier.

Today is the day the crib comes and I am so excited. I can't wait to see it. G is also painting a swatch of paint for me today.

Yesterday I did make all the Thank yous for the baby shower. I am also making a list today of all the practical things I need for the baby. I am lucky though because I do have 2 Target Gift Cards that should cover almost everything we need with the exception of the baby monitor.

So now that the paint swatch in the room is dry I am digging it so that is good.

I need to take all the pictures down and a couple of shelves this weekend so I can have the painting done.

I am also going to be hanging pictures in Cs new room.

I finished all the funeral thank yous and now need to work on the baby shower thank you's.

On the baby front I have a bladder infection and am on antibiotics. My next appointment is on Wednesday so I am hoping for more of an update then.

I didn't even realize I had a bladder infection. I just thought it was how the baby was sitting on me.

The nursery is in limbo. G took down the blinds and shelving from C and patched all the holes this week. Next swing he will be painting the room since things are so super crazy.

I seriously even have things to show you all and updates to do but my life is insane and I have almost no energy in the afternoons I just sit when I should be doing things.

Today I want to finish a large order I have. I have 2 more shirts and finishing up the Nemo dress for it. I also have a Silvermist dress to do.

I also want to finish a Doc McStuffins dress for my cousins daughter. They can't find anything in her size and her 1st birthday is on Wednesday so if I can get it out tomorrow it will be in time.

So I finally finished the Hook shirt I have been working on.

My gift for me today is finishing the Animal Blanket for the baby.

Next up is taking something out for dinner and finish cutting out the Nemo dress. I need to cut the bodice and straps the skirt is actually already cut out and pinned.

I finished the Nemo dress and am packing up that order to go. I did pin the baby blanket so I will finish that this morning.


I will be cutting out 2 dresses this morning. My goal this week is 2 dresses and2 shirts. The dresses have all their appliqués done so it is just a matter of cutting an sewing.

I also need to make my baby sling. It is going o be a crazy busy week. I also need to update about our August trip.

I will post a picture of Nemo and the blanket when I get to work.

OK - for some reason that Tink dress above did not load yesterday, so I did not see it... OMG! It's so adorable! I love the fabrics, and they are perfect for Tink!
