Why don't we make this trip report about 2012 & 2013.

Here is my short little list.

1. B&B logo applique DONE
2. Tink Applique
3. Belle applique
4. Beast Applique
5. Cut out tink dress STARTED
6. Cut out launch dress DONE
7. order tshirts
8. Find shirts I have on hand.
9. choose applique for a baby blanket.
10. Call on machines.

So I made this list and then changed the order of the appliques I am doing so I am working on some different ones than what is on my list I do this all the time :) I also need to print stitch maps for beast and belle.

I got so far behind on your report!! I haven't had as much time to be online as I usually do. Just wanted to say how much I loved all the outfits you made for your trip and those launch items were wonderful! I especially loved the fabric combination on the Monsters Inc. dress! Just beautiful!:thumbsup2

I loved reading about your trip. I'm glad you didn't feel like you had to rush through and that you took some nice breaks. I've never been to WDW when I was pregnant, but I know how tiring every day life can get in that condition, so kudos to you for even doing it! Didn't you just love Be Our Guest? My new favorite place to eat!! Can't wait to see pics of your trip.

C's room looks just right for a young girl. She'll love it down there and feel so grown up. My daughter had a room in the basement with her own bathroom and she absolutely loved it. She always liked the bathroom to be clean and her siblings...no so much! So when we had our house built, she requested her own "suite" downstairs. Can't wait to see C's room once it's painted and furnished. That's the fun part.

Contractors dust gets EVERYWHERE!!! What a job to clean everything.:faint: Be careful not to overdo it. Glad the BH have subsided. They are no fun!!

Hope you get your other machines back soon. I'm in awe of you having 5 machines!! My Mom doesn't sew anymore and I'll probably be getting her Janome soon. I'll like the fact that I will be able to sew while something is stitching out.

Hope your doctor appointment went well.:flower3:

Thanks for stopping by. I am getting aggravated with the repair place because I keep calling and they say they will call back. I love my Janomes which is what I have been using but I miss my Duetta the most. One of the machines I am getting ready to sell so I am not really worried about it not being here.

I know all about contracters dust, my dad is one and there were years we lived in nothing but house renovations :)

My appointment went pretty well some good some bad (O flunked the glucose test so I have to do the 3 hour).

Lots of progress on the room!
Make sure you take care of yourself. It's hard when you're pregnant with #3. Trust me, I remember!

Amanda

I am trying this pregnancy has been very different from the others but I am still feeling good so I am going with it.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is a stitch map?

I hope they're not thinking gestational diabetes!

Stitch maps are for designs done on the embroidery machine and tell you what order and color to put things down in.

I have big babies C was 9lbs 14 oz and I passed the 1 hour test. J even with his issues was 8lbs 4 oz and was delivered at 38 weeks.

Also my dates could be off since I wasn't keeping track when we wound up pg. Also I am advanced maternal age and high risk so I get monitored a bit more closely even though I opted out of genetic testing.

So I made a pretty big dent on my list yesterday and even worked on a few things not on it. I finished 3 appliqués yesterday, which means 3 more for the launch set.

Today I am off to ikea and Joann's, hoping to work on appliqués this afternoon.

Have a great day.

So yesterday I went to IKEA with my mom and bought some of the things I need for Cs room.

We also went to Joanns where we bought fabric for curtains and for a baby sling I want to make. I also picked up 2 fabrics I need for orders.

Today I have a bit of a list to do:

1. Clean Cs bathroom
2. Set up bathroom
3. order Cs bed and comforter
4. Belle Applique
5. Beast Applique
6. Mrs Potts applique
7. upload some pictures DONE
8. wash fabric working on
9. Work on launch set.
10. Find appliques for orders DONE
11. Make lists for this week.

Need to get a bit more organized because time is getting short.

WOW!!!! I hope you are able to get everything done! Your lists always amaze me - you do more in one day than I do in a week! Sigh...

I can't believe how quickly your pregnancy is going (I am sure it's going quickly for everyone, but you....)

I know....right! If I make a list it overwhelms me...if I don't make a list...nothing gets done!

After reading this... I need a nap!

Nini

thanks everyone. The list is a lot of stuff I can do while sitting and resting too.

I actually am amazed with the amount of energy I have today so I want to take advantage of it.

I'll echo what Nini and D~ have said about what you get accomplished! I'm glad you are moving forward and getting things done. It's such a stress to have things that need done and no time to do them. I don't have an Ikea near me and have only been to one once when we visited our son and we went to Michigan to the Ikea there. I wanted one of everything! Love that store!

I hope you continue to feel well enough to get lots done. Hope the Braxton Hicks stay away too! have a great weekend!

so it has been a crazy busy week and I am feeling it but I am thinking of asking my mom and sister to watch J for a bit this weekend. Also thinking of seeing if my niece can help us out in June with J. He loves her. He has a thing for blonds.

J would rather play with his 19 and 20 year old cousins than the 8 and 9 year olds.

The Main Street Launch is in progress and I sold 2 of my 3 outfits already. I will post pictures here later today to share.

I have 2 orders I am trying to get out this week and thankfully they go pretty quick.

Today is a rest day from sewing because I have to pick C up early for the dentist and orthodontist and then it is dance night. while she is in dance I am going to the grocery so it will kill 2 birds with one stone.

Cs new bed should be here Monday and the matresses are coming tomorrow.

Hoping to have her room set up next week.

I am hoping to order the crib by 4/20 but don't want to order to early if I have no where to put anything.

So I have been monitoring my blood pressure and it varies but for the most part is with in normal range :)

This was a crazy busy week but thankfully it is almost over. I am keeping C home from school today since she got up took a shower and was dizzy and nauseous. She doesn't need any additional yuckies from other kiddos.

She just went back to bed.

I have a lot to do this weekend and I am going to try and get a bunch of it done. I have 4 orders I want to get out so we shall see.

Hoping to have a lot of pictures to share :)

I also need to put Cs bathroom together which I think will be tonights project. I need to steam mop it, clean the sink, tub and toilet bowl and then put up all the new things we bought.

Have a great Friday.

So I figured I should tell you all how woefully unprepared I feel for this baby. It doesn't have a bedroom yet. I haven't ordered a crib. No coming home from the hospital outfit. I have made nothing myself. :( I am seriously feeling overwelmed in the aspect of what we need to do.

Saturday I did put Cs bathroom together, all that is left is buying a couple more towels and hanging a picture.

Today G is putting together her bed and hopefully her entertainment center. Then she needs to finish cleaning out her room and move. I also need to set up our old Mac for her in her room.

G is also putting together Js new bed. Hoping I can find a bed spread I like though.

After I get rid of all Cs stuff in her old room, my contractor is going to come back and paint it for us. Need to just find a purple I like for it. (I am actually just freshening it up since it is light purple right now). For some reason I refuse to order a crib until I have space to put it.

I have been working on orders and will try to post some pictures this week but I tend to forget to upload to photobucket :)

My daughter ordered her crib the end of October...and is STILL waiting on it! Eighteen days and counting!

Nini

Chiara - sounds like you have everything moving along for the new arrival. The baby will not remember where she slept those first few weeks :) I agree that I wouldn't want to have the crib delivered until you have a place to put it.

I bet C is super excited for her new space. :cool1:

I think it's a great idea to wait on ordering the crib. As Liz said, they baby sure won't know the difference. I hope you are not stressing over everything that is still to be done. Sounds like you're keeping up with your orders, and that's a must do. Can't wait to see pictures of everything you've sewn. Take care of yourself!

I did finally order my crib. My mom bought it for me and I can't wait to get it in person. It is from Pottery Barn Kids.

I am going to have a bunch of things to show either later today or tomorrow.

I gave C a list of how to clean out her room and that seems to be working much better. She did a whole bunch last night.

Yay!!! I can't wait to see everything - especially the crib! :)

D~

So I haven't been around much lately so I apologize. I do have a big update and pictures planned but it will have to wait until next week.

Here are a few things going on with us though.

We planned another trip for this year, we are going August 29th-September 4th. I broke down and booked it when I was able to get airfare for 4 of us for $850.00 so the baby's first trip will now be at the ripe old Age of 8 weeks ;) We also decided after the stress of the last few months we couldn't wait until October.

My MIL passed away on Wednesday night and we are thankful for all the prayers and that she is at peace and no longer suffering now. We have planned the funeral and it is set for Monday. There was a little bit of hassle with the cemetery and opening and closing the grave. so we had to push it from Saturday until Monday.

My baby shower is today and I am excited, I am blessed that a lot of Out of Town relatives chose to come celebrate with us and am feeling very blessed that they love us enough to travel.

On the baby front I am starting my 33rd week today so I now have less than 7 weeks to go the only thing bad is my blood pressure is all over the place. I am supposed to be monitoring it 3 times a day and usually in the morning it is within normal range but his morning it was extremely high so I am drinking water to see if that helps it.

Oh and G and I finally cleaned out most of Cs old room since the crib will be here on Wednesday. Now to schedule the contractor to come paint once I finalize the color.

Hope everyone has a great day.
