I have the facebook app not sure when or why I put it on my phone but anyways
I like reading some of the stories but that’s just the way I think of it as a story
I don’t look at it as the honest truth like how could he have done that.
But why is it with Facebook when yiu try to read the story I always get messages that my phone has viruses and to click here so they can get rid of them. I of course don’t click on anything sometimes in order get rid of it the only thing I can do is shut my phone down and start over.
Or I’ll get into the story only to have my phone go blank.
My phone works great otherwise.
Just wondering why this happens

Don’t click on the stories. If I see the headline of a story I’ll get out of FB and just google the headline to find the story elsewhere
Exactly. Anything public on Facebook that is pushed to your timeline from the algorithms has a high likelihood to be a bot or AI generated page fake page. They are most times not real pages and just gather and publish target get videos to get you to watch. Their main purpose is data mining and harvesting information from you.

Great advice thanks
I never thought of searching the headline
Like I said I don’t believe anything on Facebook but the stories are just that stories

This is why I don't use Facebook/e-mail/banking apps on my phone.

I rarely use FB and don't have any other social media accounts. I get news from reliable/reputable media sources not some random nonsense posted on social media. Most of those sites don't care about the quality/validity/accuracy of content being posted and just want more active users so they can charge advertisers more $$$.
